It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. Lamp was originally a floor lamp and we converted it to table lamp. There are areas of patina or tarnishing of the metal (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in slag glass shade. It measures approximately 18 inches from shade other side of base, 10.5 inches square for footed base, 5.5 inches in diameter for shade and 23.5 inches tall. Up for consideration is this Rare Awesome Antique Bridge Arm Table Desk Bankers with featuring Adjustable Blue-Cream Bent Curved Slag Glass Shade featuring Windmills. It features socket based turn on/off switch. Generally speaking, slag glass lamps predate Tiffany’s style of lamps. Which was using broken pieces of slag glass, cut or grinding them joining them geometrically as needed to make lamp shades. They were joined together using a foil welding method developed by Tiffany. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. We converted the from floor lamp to table lamp. There are areas of patina or tarnish of the base and shade frame (see photos). Large 8 Bent Slag Glass Panel Overlay Decorative Metal Wicker Design TABLE LAMP. We are proud to present this. Antique large bent slag glass table lamp. There are 8 caramel colored glass panels. The decorative metal overlay is in the manner and look of a woven wicker lamp. The lamp base is particularly beautiful with shell designs amid a woven lattice decoration. It is marked EL and 129. It was rewired many years ago and works well… Although we recommend rewiring of all antique lamp. It has a 2 prong plug from about the 1960s. Height is about 25 1/2 inch. Width of the shade is about 19 5/8 inch and height of the shade is about 8 3/4 inch. Pictures are part of the description. Glass is in good condition. One small line of metal overlay is missing and photographed. Variations in the patina on the metal of the shade and the lamp base. We have completely photographed item for you to judge yourself. It does show a patina from outside exposure which is evident in the pictures. There are reflections in the photographs. We have not polished, altered, cleaned, etc. This estate item in any way. The shade is no doubt early 20th century and was hung in dinning room of old Hollywood home not a mile from the Hollywood Bowl. The new owners from Italy did not understand or appreciate the old treasure. We will consider delivering the lamp to areas of far western US. Please message to discuss possibility. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. This is another lamp we have married. Both base and shade frame have areas of patina or tarnish (see photos).
