RARE Lamb Brothers&Greene Co. Chicago, Leaded Caramel Slag Stain Glass Table Lamp
“RARE” Authentic Genuine Lamb Brothers & Greene Co. Chicago, c1900 Leaded Caramel Slag Stain Glass Table Lamp. The circular base is copper plated spun sheet brass in a deep brown patina-the base has some wear and scratches due to use and age. The base supports a three socket cluster witch -2 are Hubbell sockets with acorn chain pull strings and one has been replaced and is not working which needs adjustments(this is the only part that has been replaced and the rest of the lamp is all original). The heat cap is spun brass with acorn finial. The shade is lead filled caramel color slag glass with insertions of red stain glass jewels. There are 3 pieces of the slag glass that has slight heat cracks in the caramel glass. All of the slag glass is surrounded with lead and very secure and solid in place(nothing is loose). MEASURES: The shade- 17 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ Pole- 22″ x 9″ Complete lamp from top to bottom- 27″ x 17 1/2″. ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT ONE SOCKET! We have taken more then 12 pictures which 12 is the amount aloud. Rare 1910s Judson Studios Slag Glass Shade With Custom Mold For Chandelier Lamp
Beautiful antique rare Judson Studios large glass slag shade with b ronze top crown handle, and construction mold, we most recently acquired this piece from an an estate mansion in san francisco, CA that was filled with rare treasures, this particular piece was displayed as a center show piece. Origin: Judson studios, los angeles, CA. Period: 1900 – 1910. Condition: very good solid condition, there is (3) issues. (1) Glass plate is cracked, and (2) glass plates need to be replaced. These issues do not alter the beautiful character of this piece whatsoever. 22h x 29w x 29d. Construction Materials: glass, bronze, lead. In 1897, the judson studios was established in los angeles by the painter and professor william lees judson and his three sons. RARE Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Shell Form Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a rare and beautiful example of Duffner & Kimberly’s work. I believe it is referred to as the “shell” lamp or a “medallion” lamp, but whatever the name you can see by the sheer quality and attention to detail that this is one of Duffner’s great lamps. Just look at how great the workmanship is on the “shells”. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here but will note that the shade is 19 1/2″ in diameter and the lamp stands 22 1/2″ tall. I see maybe 5 or 6 small cracks throughout the shade, but nothing serious. Adding to the greatness of this lamp is its solid bronze, fully signed (see stem picture), base with matching gold wash finish. The base is 100% original right down to the bottom plate. It has the nice long Hubbell sockets with their original interiors and acorn pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice looking plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Lamps like from Duffner & Kimberly do not come up all that often and I can honestly say that you won’t find one in as nice or in as original condition as this one. RARE! Vintage Blue Slag Glass Tulip Hanging Swag Lamp Light Chandelier Ceiling
Antique, Vintage Blue Green Slag Glass and Brass Hanging Swag Tulip Ceiling Lamp. Along with the 8 blue glass (with green and white) highlighted petals. This lamp has a unique and rare design of 8 decorative brass gently curved tubes with a ball on ends hanging between each petal. I believe the decoration mimics the stamen, pistil part of a tulip flower. It is a rare and unique feature. I could not find another like it online. If you have any information on these details on this lamp, let me know and I will add it to the listing. Simply, plug in to outlet and hang chain from your hook on your ceiling. Weighted end brass pull chain turns lamp on and off. Lamp is in beautiful condition. I don’t see any chips or cracks. It is a quality made lamp, feeling more solid than others. Brass has some left over sticky from tape from storage. It can certainly be used as it is. It is had to see while hanging. Lamp could use a little polishing if desired. Brass is a nice quality thickness and weight. Cord and chain are in good condition. Notice its’ vintage plug end, which is also in great condition. Again, it is a beautiful rare lamp. When lite, its’ white and green highlights shine through adding more beauty and warmth. Petals, glass measure 8. Lamp measures 13 high in total including glass and brass. Shade has a little warpage to it But It does not affect its appearance , two sections of the overlay covering the caramel colored glass sections are missing a few little pieces of the design And two pieces of the caramel colored glass appear lighter in color than the others perhaps replaced somewhere in time. RARE Unique Art Glass Co. Leaded lamp Handel Tiffany Arts Crafts slag era
One of a kind Unique Art Glass Co. Couple of reasons this lamp is special, 1 the colors used, normally unique shades were green blends for leaves, this has that Fall Season coloring to the leaves. The Base, this comes from Mosaic Shades 2: page 41 about early Unique Arts Bases:Unique appears to have also experimented with many other different types of bases, including some white metal such as electro formed copper over plaster! This came from an estate in Michigan. Which also had great wealth and prosperity due to the Auto industry in the early part of the century. Base is in fine condition as well. Shade is as said very old, some old repairs evident around aperture. It’s old and condition reflects that – beats a reproduced ones that have flooded the market. Has the flat strap border around the bottom of the skirt. Lamp stands 23 tall. Shade 17″ x 8″ deep. Wired with twisted cloth black cord. Lamp is complete base finial cap shade all Unique.
