Please look at all pictures 1 panel does has some damage and needs a little tlc.. Also the one next to it may have a small chip…. None of this is visible from the outside. Shade is roughly 13 1/2 x 13 1/2.
ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU Blue Slag Glass Salem Brothers Desk Lamp
This is an antique blue slag glass desk lamp made by Salem Brothers circa 1920′s. It has a small floral basket on each of the four panels. The metal base and shade frame appear to have original white paint. The glass panels and metal filigree are in excellent condition with no breaks or missing pieces. Diameter of base of lamp 5.25. Diameter of shade is 8.

Up for consideration is this Rare One of a Kind Awesome Antique Bridge Arm Table Desk Lamp featuring Green Jadeite Accents and Green Polygon Slag Glass Shade. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. The base was originally a smokers stand. I convert it to lamp. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). It is adjustable (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item descrip tion. It measures approximately 16 inches front of shade to back of base on back side as shown in gallery photo, 10 inches in diameter for base, 8.8 inches in diameter for shade and 30 inches tall. ANTIQUE BRADLEY & HUBBARD VICTORIAN SLAG GLASS Desk LAMP Rare Small 11-1/2 Size. Estimated age: Early 1900s. Base style indicates #208. Shade fits nicely on base. Originally designed for boudoir or desk. Ornate Filigree Frame on shade. 6 Sided Slag Glass Shade. Base and Shade marked Bradley & Hubbard. Shade: 4-1/2″ Tall x 8-1/2″ Wide. CONDITION : Excellent Antique, No filigree damage, light fully functioning. Exterior cloth on cord is fraying. Small chip in inside of plastic screw where cord meets base. Felt on bottom is detached. Removed to confirm that base was a genuine Bradley & Hubbard. See pic of signature stamp. Small chip on inside only of the slag glass panel. Does not show when lit or from exterior. Between 1868 and 1875, Bradley and Hubbard secured 33 patents relating to the design and mechanics of oil burning lamps (in all, the company would eventually patent a total of 238 designs and mechanical devices). The company was reorganized in 1875 as a joint stock company renamed The Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Company. Slag glass, a type of opaque, streaked, antique pressed glass that originated in England in the late 19th century, was used in glassware items such as lampshades, jugs, wine glasses and beakers.

This listing is for an early 1900′s slag glass lamp by the Edward Miller Co. The lamp is a nice medium size at 21″ tall and about 14″ diameter making it perfect for many applications: nightstands, entry tables or toppers for desks and case pieces. The lamp appears to have all original glass in excellent condition. Also the base still have some of it’s original decorative colors.
