Both the base and shade have the original finish and the Wilkinson Lighting Co. Both pieces weigh nearly 16 lbs each. In very good used condition with normal wear (see pic closely). It has the original gorgeous dark patina The octagon shade has 8 honey caramel and white bent glass panels on the top with the same color straight panels on the sides. The wiring has been up dated and is in good working order, but feel free to have it checked out for safety reasons. This is beautiful piece. Leaded Lamp, Hampshire Pottery, Slag Glass Shade, Arts Crafts, Handel Lamp Era
Up for consideration is a nice Tulip Leaded glass lamp with a rare large Hampshire pottery signed Tulip base. The shade Is a Bent Slag leaded glass shade which I believe is a Whaley. Very difficult to make shades that have the bent Slag glass with the leaded Tulip flowers. The shade is 16 Diameter 7 Deep with a 3 1/2 aperture. Condition is very good. I see no cracks but there are some straw marks from the making of the glass and they have dirt over the years so they look like cracks but dont show thru on the inside of the shade. Wear to the leading. But being a antique thats to be expected. The base is a Rare Tulip signed Hampshire pottery 0013 with even the rare paper labels which are still there all these years. No cracks or repairs in the pot. The 3 socket cluster has Hubbell, s with orig. Interiors and acorn pulls mounted to a large brass oil lamp font thats been converted to electric. The base stands 20 tall and is about 12 wide. The base has been wired with period style cloth covered wire. I took a lot of pictures which is part of the description. A great looking lamp. Beautiful multicolored Tiffany style leaded vintage hanging shade with a very unique design a flared out bottom. Cosmetically the item is in great used condition but does have one small hairline crack on one of the glass panels. It is very small and not really noticeable unless you know it’s there please see last photo for Crack. Item measures 14 in wide x 11 in tall. 1920s Bradley & Hubbard Art Nouveau Table Lamp with Slag Glass Shade
1920s Bradley & Hubbard Art Nouveau two-light table lamp with slag glass shade was totally stripped down to its base metals: cast iron base & center pole; heavy cast white/pot metal base urn, B&H two-light socket head, top finial, and filigree shade frame; and tubular brass vertical pipe sections & joiners. Then, the cast iron was soaked overnight in Rustoff before priming and doing the antique bronze restoration. Brass was hand-polished and a light lacquer spray applied to facilitate oxidation and re-aging to restore patina naturally. New Kokomo Glass Company slag glass used for six panels in the hexagonal-shaped shade with acorn & oak leaf filigree designs. The two-light socket head has the B&H triangular mark and the bottom of the base has the same B&H triangular mark as well as 2496 on a small raised plate (see photo). This classy B&H Art Nouveau lamp stands 21 1/2 inches high and is 20 inches wide with the base 8 inches in diameter. It weighs 16+ pounds. Rewired with new cloth cord and a reproduction wall plug, it’s ready to grace your study or living room. Light bulbs not included. Bradley and Hubbard Bronze Table Lamp Slag Glass Dogwood Leaves Berries
Up for your consideration is a Bradley and Hubbard table lamp, circa 1915. It is art nouveau style, with dogwood leaves and berries designed in bronze. The lamp shade has six cream-colored slag glass panels. This lamp is used, but in excellent condition and appears to be all original with no necessary competed repairs. The only discovered damage, aside from the typical scratches, edgewear, and dings, is there appear to be 2 tabs missing that hold in one of the panels. This item has been well-cleaned, but there may be some leftover dust. The panels are unbroken and uncracked. The shade has been fully disassembled and cleaned, however, as you can see in the photos, there are tiny black spots on the glass where some dirt is still present. This lamp is very heavy for its size and weighs approximately 17 pounds with the cord. The cord is in excellent shape and appears to be original, but this is unconfirmed. Light bulbs not included for safety purposes. The makers mark is very small and located at the top of the lamp itself, upside down, and only visible when the shade is removed. On the opposite side, it says “APL”. The bottom of the lamp has a protective green fabric, in decent but used condition. Measurements are approximate and listed below.
