Vintage Filigree Pink Slag Glass Electric Table Lamp Art Noveau Repaired 16
Okay, I may have taken some liberties with the category listings. I don’t know what metal it is, so I put spelter. It has a heavy base which is good to hold the glass shade up. I said Art Nouveau from the lovely heads on the base, and the color is old metal that looks like heavily tarnished silver to me. With that out of the way, the lamp is 16 tall approximately. My parents where antique collectors and Dad was a welder by trade from WWII. So the base is split diagonally and repaired. The top side piece of the shade is repaired above where there is missing filigree. I wasn’t sure of the terminology for see-through metal shade so I called it filigree. Lovely swirls and flowers on shade. The shade measures 5 1/2″ tall x 7″ across bottom side. Four sides, only one with damage. Pull switch, Dad must have replaced lightbulb holder and cord years ago, so if you wish, you can replace it too. It works for me. Long cord, I didn’t unravel it to measure. The base pedestal is approximately 8 without lightbulb holder. Base is 4 1/2 square. It has a little wobble to it, but a tiny furniture dot would probably fix that great. The top of the pedestal has heads in circle medallions, two look the same and the other two are both different from each other. The bottom 2/3 of pedestal is ornately decorated. Then, there are the l lovely faces on the base and one even has the cord coming out of it. I love the lamp, just don’t have a place for it now. Nice for a guest room bedside table, or nighttime accent lamp to give a little extra light. Right now, it’s got a standard bulb holder. The four pieces of slag glass are undamaged. I put a 40 w round bulb in for pictures (not included). I think it’s a little too much wattage. It got hot after 5 minutes. You will need a normal size screw light but shorter than a light bulb. Antique Curved Slag Glass & Brass Lamp Shade // 22 x 12 // Eight Panel
Listed for your consideration…………. An antique curved slag glass lamp shade. Eight panel with metal decorative filigree, please see photo # 2. I believe the structure of the piece is brass. The shade measures 22 x 12 inches, base diameter x height. The shade weighs approximately six pounds. The colorations of the eight main panels and the eight panel shade crown are true to the piece’s actual color tones…… Please see all the photos. The shade originally was made with hanging glass tubes and beads, the fabric is still attached to the shade, and you will also receive a tin of the original tubes and beads….. Please see photos 10, 11, & 12. The sixteen panels, main & crown, are free of cracks. A couple of the crown panels are a bit loose. Vintage Slag Stained Glass Tulip Floral Pattern Large Lamp Light Beautiful
The base is a chalk-ware that has a painted finish in dark green and bronze. Looks like a tree or plant looking base very much in a Handel or Bradley Hubbard style. The shade is a huge 20 1/2 inches with tulips vibrant green red and blues as pictured. Theres no chips or cracks in the shade there is one small nick as seen in one picture and there are some normal signs of use and wear. Signed Antique Bradley Hubbard Arts & Crafts Era Slag Glass Lamp 3 Socket B&H
This is a beautiful, early 20th century slag glass lamp by the Bradley & Hubbard Company. The lamp has B&H marks on the base as well as the shade. The lamp is in excellent condition for it’s age. Some minor wear to the original finish on the base as shown and also, 2 of the sockets have been replaced. The lamp works and looks amazing when lit. I especially like the form of this shade. It is large in diameter but quite shallow compared to some giving it an umbrella look in my opinion. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES FOR BEST REPRESENTATION! This is also a rare lamp in that the base and shade are clearly original to each other. All glass appears original with no breaks. The lamp stands 22″ tall with the shade being 18.5″ in diameter.
