Large Whaley Shade on Handel 3 socket base. Stands 23″ tall 6″ square foot. Shade 19″ x 7″ 3.5/8 aperture. Gorgeous antique glass bright stylized floral border. There are no cracks in the glass leading is right and tight! Is of course a marriage of 2 HIGH quality items. That do work pretty well together. A great opportunity for someone with a Handel shade and a Whaley base. Mix and match any way you would like. Either way its a beauty that would certainly bring attention in someones front window! Wired with brown cloth period style cord. 3 Saturn pull chain Paiste sockets working just fine, insides may have been updated keeping original chain and shells. But they are safe and that’s the most important thing about any socket. The wonderful rose boarder design is depicted on an 18 diameter dome shaped shade with a green geometric. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass is just beautiful and highly colorful and there are maybe 2 or 3 small cracks here and there throughout the shade. The floral motif is depicted in the. Base which has its original hardware and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord. I have come across many J. The wonderful lily pad and cattail design is depicted on an eight-sided leaded glass shade that measures 18 in diameter. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass is just beautiful and highly colorful and there are maybe 4 or 5 small cracks here and there throughout the shade. The simple square style base has its original dark brown finish and old sockets and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord. I have come across many J. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is beautiful example of one of J A Whaley’s tulip lamps. Bright yellow flowers with green petals against a really nice dark green background. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here as they can do a better job at explaining it than I can, but rest assured that this is a really fine example of this particular lamp. The colors and glass are just outstanding. A few tiny cracks here and there, but no replaced pieces. Large 20 diameter shade. Lamp stands a whopping 26 tall. The base retains all of its original hardware including matching Bryant pull chains with their original interiors and ball ended pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Folks, this is a very nice example of J A Whaley’s work. I have seen a few tulips before, but the glass in this one is much better. If you have ever wanted a great example from this maker, this may be the one for you. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really sweet J. Whaley leaded lamp done with what appears to be a rose style boarder. Just look at the wonderful colors in this one and imagine how nice this lamp would look on a table in your home. Whaley made some really impressive, great looking lamps and this is one of them. Great design, great glass, large and impressive overall. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here as they can do a better job of describing this lamp than I can. With this one, the glass is the key and it is all granite backed in the shade. The result is a. Glow when lit with the flowers just jumping out at you. Whaley also shaded the background glass with lighter colored green at the top going down to darker green near the apron. This also helps to accentuate the flowers. Many of the middle panels are also bent which takes more time to do and is a characteristic of a better quality shade. Its just a really impressive design all the way around. In terms of condition, I see no replaced pieces or repairs and only a few small cracks here and there (the worst of which is shown in image 9). This is a large table lamp with a 20″ diameter shade that stands just about 24″ tall. The base is pot metal with a beautiful original dark brown finish. It has what appear to be its original sockets with “General Electric” labeled shells and satellite ended pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and an old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you have ever wanted one of these J.
