Vintage Signed Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass Palms Design Deco Nude Lamp Base. Total Height is about 15 1/2. Shade Is marked Bradley & Hubbard. Shade is about 5 1/2″ in height not including the beads, 8″ wide in the bottom, and 2 3/4 wide on top. It seems the beads around the shade have been added later on and they can be easily removed. Shade is standing on a deco nude base which is marked and patented (hard to read) it is so old. Please review all my pictures they are part of my description. Duffner & Kimberly Hampshire Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a great looking lamp whose shade was made by Duffner & Kimberly and whose base is Hampshire. I have seen combinations like this with many Hampshire bases and most look pretty good, but this one is just outstanding…… Its a perfect match! It has just a wonderful squatty Arts & Crafts look. I will let my pictures do the talking here since they can do a better job than I can about describing i. T, but will note that the shade is 19″ in diameter and the lamp stands 20″ tall. I see a single partial break in one of the non-flower containing pieces (as shown), but no others. The shade is beautiful, well made, and in great shape. The Hampshire base is what I believe to. Be a fairly rare form with two large handles on the ends. These handles are in excellent condition and have not had any repairs (as I would think others in this form may have due to their fragility). The combination works wonderfully and the base accompanies the shade just perfectly. I see no cracks or chips or in the base, but there is a bit of a lighter area line that is approximately 2 long on the right hand side which can be seen in several of my pictures. The base is signed as shown and even has an old paper label with the number 004 on it. It comes complete with matching BRYANT labeled sockets having their original porcelain interiors and ball ended pull chains. Has has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is a really nice floral table lamp with a great Hampshire pottery lamp base. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine. RARE Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Shell Form Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a rare and beautiful example of Duffner & Kimberly’s work. I believe it is referred to as the “shell” lamp or a “medallion” lamp, but whatever the name you can see by the sheer quality and attention to detail that this is one of Duffner’s great lamps. Just look at how great the workmanship is on the “shells”. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here but will note that the shade is 19 1/2″ in diameter and the lamp stands 22 1/2″ tall. I see maybe 5 or 6 small cracks throughout the shade, but nothing serious. Adding to the greatness of this lamp is its solid bronze, fully signed (see stem picture), base with matching gold wash finish. The base is 100% original right down to the bottom plate. It has the nice long Hubbell sockets with their original interiors and acorn pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice looking plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Lamps like from Duffner & Kimberly do not come up all that often and I can honestly say that you won’t find one in as nice or in as original condition as this one. Bradley Hubbard Arts Crafts Leaded Vintage Slag Glass Antique Lamp Handel Era NR
Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. That’s an unbelievable savings. I have for sale this very nice super-sized signed Bradley and Hubbard leaded table lamp. The quality and patina on it is all original and looks appropriate. The shade measuring in at 22 inches and the base 24 inches tall. Both shade and base without issue which means for the base no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. The base has been recently rewired with a period appropriate cloth cord, sockets and old style plug and has the B&H triangle stamp at the top by the two-socket cluster. The shade in very good condition, with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The leading throughout tight and right, and the patina nice as well. The glass of great quality and this lights up nicely as you can see from the photos. There are 3-4 super tight hair line cracks in some of the glass panels but again are very tight and certainly not going anywhere and certainly do not detract from the lamp as a whole. Very Fine Geometric Art Deco Bradley & Hubbard Leaded lamp. Stands 23″ tall 7″ foot. Shade is 18″ x 7″. 2 Bryant satellite chain sockets. Rewired with newer cord at some point. No fractures tight and right leading. Nice warm art glass used in making this shade. Caramel glass lights up warm just beautiful! The Art Deco Border is one of the best I’ve seen.
