Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a wonderful and quite unusual Suess leaded lamp with an overall floral pattern. Suess made some really impressive, super high quality lamps and this is one of them. Great design, tight lead lines, solid bronze bases….. This one has it all. This one has a very unusual scattered mosaic glass background that really sets it apart from a lot of others that typically have simple brickwork backgrounds. In addition, the repeating pink floral (possibly a pond lily) design really stands out against it. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here since they show this lamps beauty more than I can possibly describe. I will say that this is a full sized table lamp with a 17 1/2″ diameter shade that stands 19″ tall. The base again is solid bronze with a beautiful dark brown finish. It has what appear to be its original Bryant labeled sockets with “F” labeled turn keys. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and an old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you have ever wanted one of these Suess lamps, this is your chance to get a very nice and highly. I think you will agree that it is well worth it to get it as pictured. All that being said. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. The item “Antique Suess Floral Leaded Slag Stained Glass Handel Duffner Tiffany Era Lamp” is in sale since Sunday, March 19, 2017. Frink NY Slag Glass & Copper Wall Lamp – Industrial, Steampunk, Awesome. A very unusual, vintage, light that is stamped: I. Frick NY The slag glass is a gray/green blend. Two thumb screws open the lamp. Not sure if this is all copper or some brass or just some metal? I know it is copper leading around the slag glass. There’s no light fixture inside so we are wondering if it was a gas lamp at one time? Measures 18″ x 9.5″ and extends outward from wall 5. Not sure if it was hung horizontally or vertically? It would look amazing either way. Also it would be easy to convert as an electric lamp. Please scroll down to see additional photos of this item and view our listings showcase. I have for sale this pretty nice handel lamp base. Its in excellent overall condition and has no damage to report. Its in fine working order. Its measures 20 inches tall to the top of the finial and is 7.5 inches wide at the bottom. The shade rest is 3 and 7/8′s in diameter and slip a 3 and 5/8′s hole. It has a nice two socket cluster with original signed hubbell sockets and acorn pulls. Thanks for looking and please check out my other lighting sales as well. Only the base is for sale. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. To sell them and not let my inventory sit around for years on end. Thanks for checking this great lamp out and please check out my other great lighting options as well. Recently I have been putting different lighting on with reserves and no reserves. Please Check out my other items! Some great Bradley Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. To all potential buyers. Please feel free to. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc. So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function. When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it. Antique Bradley & Hubbard? Slag Glass Cast Iron Arts & Crafts Mission Oil Lamp. Measures 20 inches tall. Since this is an original, there is a couple of things that will have to be addressed. First is the chimney, there is not one. Second is there is no wick, since this lamp is not electrified, it will have to be replaced. The bottom has the stamp “1315 lamp base”. The font tank and wick feeder is a “success” name brand and works freely. Pictures do not do this rare find justice. The green slag glass is a phenomenal color and not the dull stuff I have seen before. The cast iron is not broken or cracked in any way which makes this a very collectible piece! The rivets and screw types that hold this lamp together are of the correct era. We have seen many B & H lamps of this exact type, but this one lacks the actual name. A beautiful lamp for the SERIOUS collector. Please Read: (its not long). No APO, FPO, or other military addresses. YOU ARE INSURED, so you can either take the item to the carrier and file a claim, or if you are unable to file a claim we will be more than happy to assist you. Accidents do happen unfortunately. It has three open moveable splits where the panels came together, and three more minor ones where one can see narrow separations. The last two pictures show where the shade hit the window frame. There is a bit of a bend to the frame along with white paint from where it connected on the way down. This can better be seen in the picture of the whole shade. In this picture one can also see that the frame along the top where supports for two side by side panels is still in place but there is a partial split with just a little bend. This area is along the frame part that shows the split at 1:00. The three blue slag glass panels are intact but on one the glass had come out of the tab which keeps it in place near the center on one side. I don’t trust my ability to bend the tab back to put it properly in place. It would definitely be taped and given extra protection for travel. It should be close but it may be a little high. I have for sale this very nicely designed geometric and properly signed bradley and hubbard leaded shade. This is a nice leaded lamp that doesnt come up very often and its with great color as you can see. The shade with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The leading in a very nice choclate brown patina throughout and the leading tight and right in all locations. I only used 7.5 watt bulbs to give you some idea how good the glass lights up. The exterior of the glass smooth the interior granite. The shade measures 15 inches wide and the base 14.5 inches tall to the arm support. The base in excellent original condition as well. Properly signed on the bottom and with zero damage to report and in very nice matching patina to the shade. The base rewired with proper period style cloth cord and ols style plug, the socket replaced because the old one was not working. The arms of the base strong and not showinf any kind of repair. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. What a cool design and nice look. Its a midsized lamp and as such more multi purpose. The base measures 22.5 inches tall and has no damage or issues. Its got its original patina throughout and its in very nice condition. It’s been recently rewired with period and old style, and correct cloth cord. The sockets updated as well. The shade measures 16.5 inches wide. The shade in very nice overall condition and has no glass breaks in the upper light caramel panels or in the blue border panels. The filligree all in place and also without losses. The shade not out of round at all and i see no breaks in the metalware. All in all a very nice period lamp and this lamp without reserve. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price.
