Antique Egyptian Motif Slag Glass 8 Panel Electric Table Lamp
This panel lamp has 8 panels of smooth amber glass. The diameter of the shade is 17 1/4. The shade is 7 deep. The height is 23. All of the glass is good and all of the tabs are present. There are 2 pull chain sockets. The diameter of the 6 sided base is 7 1/4″- 8″. There is a notch in the bottom of the base. I do not know why but you can hardly see it. Two of the “sunbursts” are missing. You can see it in one of the pictures. The lamp has a rayon cord. I have shown the lamp lit and unlit. It is all ready to go. This lamp and others I have listed came from the collection of an elderly gentleman. All sales are final. I might have the shade professionally boxed. There might be something you just can not live without. I will be listing much more vintage lighting soon. Antique 4 Panel Slag Glass. Stained Glass Boudoir Lamp. Rose & Floral Wreath Motif. The delightful Slag Glass Boudoir Lamp has Rose & Floral Wreaths gracefully flowing on each panel. Perhaps in the Art Nouveau Style. The Slag Glass has Carmel & White flowing & swirling colors. The frame has been’Antiqued’ with gold paint? It has imperfections in this finish which adds to it uniqueness. The lamp has four panels. Each panel has the floral wreath. The base is appropriate in size for the shade. The base also has the floral design. The lamp is in working condition. Please look at the ninth picture showing the lamp lit. I used an LED bulb which seems to have been too strong making the picture difficult to show. A chandelier 40 W bulb may be a better choice. Antique Early 20c Green Slag Glass Urn Motif Filigree Table Boudoir Lamp. This is an elegant estate found antique table/boudoir lamp dating to the early 20th century. The slag glass panel shade is accented with fancy urn motif filigree work. The underside of the base is numbered 83 and 880. Dimensions: It stands 16 total height. The shade is 5 1/2″ tall x 7 3/4″ x 7 3/4. The lamp base is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. Condition: In overall very good cosmetic condition consistent with age and use. There is some light surface wear to the finish on the cast iron lamp base, which appears to have been painted over. Layers of old paint shows through is some spots. The slag glass panels on the shade are all in tact with no cracks or evidence of old repairs. Some of the glass edges are uneven. The electrical component functions normally. This listing is for a Light-Up Slag Glass Lamp Base with Oriental Motif. Cold painted black, with slag glass panels on each side, overlayed with two walking oriental figures and a running dog. Base has raised leaves and florals around the base and panels. Measures 23-1/4″ tall 7-7/8″ diameter base, tapered. The oriental figures are broke off and missing on one side, it is missing the lid enclosure for the bottom and will need re-wired. Otherwise would make a wonderful lamp base with the right shade.
