1900s Cast Iron Mottled Green Slag Glass Lamp Electric Light Modified

If you’re a Mission period enthusiast or looking for that Arts and Crafts piece that finishes the room off with an interesting vibe, this is your lamp. Likely designed and crafted by Bradley & Hubbard in the early 1900′s, this Mission style lamp is made of heavy cast iron and beautiful mottled green slag glass. Inscribed with “Success” text on the knob. A few imperfections are present but not extensive. A crack on one side of the lamp shade, and a couple on another. The craftsmanship of this piece is incredibly sturdy and very heavy as with most pieces of Mission styled furniture and lamps. This lamp would be stunning in a richly done Mission, Arts and Crafts or even Rustic Cabin styled environment. As a side table lamp or between two weathered leather club chairs, this piece is very versatile and incredibly unique. Dimensions: 11″ x 11″x 19.5″h From the table surface to the bottom of the shade: 12.5″. This has been well retrofited with an electric light and 6 foot cord.
Vintage Tiffany Slag Glass Tulip Pendant Chandelier Lamp Green Stained Glass

In the photos are a pair of vintage green slag glass hanging pendant light, often referred to as a tulip or lotus lamp due to the shape of the shade. These lights are made in the Tiffany style but are not necessarily original Tiffany productions; they were widely popular in the mid-20th century, particularly the 1960s and 1970s. The shades feature slag glass panels that appear green when unlit but take on a yellow tone when illuminated. Each petal is lined with beaded brass trim, consistent with an Art Nouveau or mid-20th-century style. Material: The shade is made of slag glass (also known as marble or malachite glass), which is an opaque, streaked pressed glass created by adding metal ore to molten glass to create a marbled effect. Design: The shade features distinct panels assembled with metal framing, forming a flower or tulip shape with a green and pale amber/yellow swirl pattern. Both in working condition and will require some repairs to the brass trim.

REWIRED Antique Vtg Arts Crafts Mission Chandelier Green Panel Slag Glass Tudor

Beautiful Antique Arts & Crafts Chandelier. Gorgeous antique original piece! From an antique lighting restoration company in Boston whose owners have since retired – see and watch our store for more unique beauties. A true original piece from the late 1800′s to early 1900′s. The chandelier is constructed of iron, the rod is decorated about halfway down by two decoratively curled, twisted iron bands, from which suspend two chains that connect with the body at the arms. The focal point of this chandelier is the amazing green slag glass framed behind riveted iron in a hexagon shape. The piece finishes with two side lights with curled leaves under the sockets. Freshly rewired, cleaned, polished, and ready to hang and enjoy. Made of wrought iron, metal, brass and slag glass. No chips, cracks or gouges in the metals – just some small rubs and scratches in the finish here and there, mostly on the painted finish of the hexagon frame (see closeups). No chips or cracks in the green slag glass – so stunning! The brass Bryant sockets have been cleaned, rewired, tested and are working great. Use 3 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like as they use low wattage for bright light. Bulbs not included, but shown as examples of styles you might like. Or you can pick it up at our office in Bristol, VA. We are here to help if you have any questions! 26 wide at edge of arms. 47 total drop length / height. If you need it to be longer, you can add chain at the top (or attached another pole) and then another ceiling canopy at the ceiling. If you need it to be shorter, you would need to have someone cut the main pole and rethread it at the top (this is not a service we offer). The green glass hexagon shade itself measures 17 1/2″ across at the pointed corners (15″ at the straight sides), and is 10 tall including the crown of the frame above the glass. The ceiling canopy has a diameter of 5 3/4. You’re going to LOVE it! Please see all photos for detailed description.
