Antique Handel Pine Tree Sunrise landscape desk lamp, Slag Glass Shade with Bronze
HANDEL PINE SUNSET DESK LAMP. Lovely Authentic original Handel Pine Forrest Sunset slag glass Desk Lamp. The colors are spectacular with hexagonal slag glass shade on a nice patina bronze construction and base. Shade contains 6 sunset glass panels under a pine tree and field metal overlay design. The green felt on the bottom would have had a woven Handel label over center screw most likely worn/cut, but this base is well documented. There is no question that this is a Handel. The shade is 6″ deep and has a maximum diameter of 7″. The foot of the base is 7.5″ long and 4.5″ wide. I think the photos accurately indicate the condition of the patina on the base and shade. One Panel of the glass does have a couple cracks, but they are stable and very difficult to see anything from the outside, so see pictures with the last picture showing the pane from the outside with light on. (Heavy/Awkward items may take another day). This drastically will cut back delays in the system & resolve questions more quickly. Large Art Nouveau Wilkinson Slag Glass Lamp Bronze Base
Brooklyn, NY Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is a beautiful antique Art Nouveau Wilkinson Co. Slag glass lamp, circa early 20th century. Lamp is very large with 16 panels of caramel colored and light green slag glass with a detailed overlay. Heavy lamp with a finely made base and shade. Lamp is 26″ in height and the shade measures 21″ across. It retains most of its original gold finish. It has been newly rewired with a period style cord and has three Hubbell sockets with original acorn pulls and ready for use in your home. It is not signed but can be easily identified by the heat cap & ring assembly with locking mechanism, also pictured in an old ad as shown from 1914. Condition is excellent with no damage.
