It has socket based pull chain switch. It is in very good to excellent vintage antique estate condition. Note, in gallery photo one of the decorative pieces is missing (see photos). It can be turned so it isn’t as noticeable. It was originally a floor lamp. There are areas age related metal ware, plate loss and patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in glass. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. It measures approximately 14 inches front of shade to back of base on back side as shown in gallery photo, 9 inches square for base, 5 inches in diameter for shade and 27 inches tall. It measures approximately 16 inches front of shade to back of base on back side as shown in gallery photo, 5.5 inches in diameter for shade, 9.5 inches in diameter at base and 25 inches tall. Antique circo 1910 Victorian 5 panel caramel slag electric lamp featuring glass beaded fringes, brocaded brass embellishments connecting each panel, swivel bridge arm and shade (see photos). Measures 12″ tall & brass base is 6″X6. I collect all types of vintage & antique lamps, Fenton, Waterford etc and this is probably my one of my all time favorites. The shade is old, there are bubbles in the slag glass (see photos). There is one aspect of the lamp that is not antique. The shade had no fitter, only a square entry at top. I used a threaded socket with a threaded screw on collar fitter.
