Best Art Nouveau Ornate Brass Table Lamp Marble Slag Glass Shade. Measures approximately 23″ tall total with an approximately 7 1/2″ diameter base. Shade measures approximately 17 1/2″ diameter x 7″ tall and features 5 slag glass panels. Each panel measures approx. 9 1/2″ tall x 10″ wide tapered down to 2 1/2 wide. This is vintage and pre-owned; Estate found. Tested and works beautifully. Great cosmetic condition considering the age of the piece. There is some weathering/oxidation as well as a split in one of the panels that has been repaired by the previous owner (pictured above). Splendid Blue Tyfanny Style Antq Pair /Lamps w Bended Slag Glass Pannels & Brass
Magnificent blue Tyfanny style, antique pair of lamps with six bended slag glass pannels and brass square base. Stained slag glass lamp shade. Brass base with bronze finish. Double pull chain switch with fringe. Each of the six pannels of glass is hand-soldered into place using the traditional copper foil technique with splendid filigree foral pattern acessoires and very elegant curve lines, (trimmed with a fine mini spiral wire). The flowing colour is blue basically, with hypnotic hues of green and yellow, creating a movement effect, not to mention the decorating calming and soothing effect. Due to the different monitor and light effect, the actual color of the items might be slightly different from the color showed on the pictures. The base rests on a square block and is mainly a bulbous central pillar with stylised acanthus leaves pattern and fluted upper segment, finished by the lighting part made of the two sockets for the two bulbs with the two fringes for the double pull down chains. Six glass panels are in great condition. Light discoloration and wear on the brass and finial. Double bulbs (not included). Facing different way (only one bulb on 4th picture).
