A stunning, 100% authentic early 20th-century Art Nouveau bent slag glass table lamp. This heirloom piece features the highly desirable “Morning Glory and Trellis” filigree overlay shade manufactured by the renowned Empire Lamp Company of Chicago, factory-paired with a heavy cast-metal base featuring its original Bradley & Hubbard (B&H) stamped socket cluster. The metalwork on both the shade and the base is unified, antique bronze patina, confirming this lamp has aged together as an original, unaltered unit for over a century. This rare large Empire lamp has 16 panels of slag glass with a unusual 4 sided design. The lamp is in excellent condition with no damage to the glass or the delicate filigree. The gold polychrome finish on both the base and shade is in great shape. The lamp lights up with two pull chain sockets that work well and have been rewired with cloth covered cord. The shade is 16 inches wide, the base is 8 inches wide and the whole lamp is 25 inches tall.

This antique Empire slag glass panel lamp is unsigned but has the correct cap set and finial. Both the base and shade have an antique gold polychrome finish that is in excellent condition. The shade has 12 panels of slag glass, 6 caramel in the top and 6 blue in the skirt. The filigree is a scenic country design and looks lovely lit up. The base has two pull chain sockets that work well and has been rewired with cloth covered cord. The shade is 18 inches wide, the base is 8 inches wide and the whole lamp is 23 inches tall.

All surface clean inside and out, new modern replacement wiring throughout, period correct plug end with new insulator disc. 2 pull P & S pull chain sockets, black insulators very good condition, long pull chains with brass bead pulls. Tested safe and ready for use. Height at the top of the cluster cap is 22. No damage, subtle age related wear. Lustrous appearance, hand rubbed. I stand behind my work 100%.
