This is a lovely and well made Tiffany style stained and slag glass lamp in excellent pre-owned condition as detailed above. It features a beautiful and colorful all glass shade and a heavy footed base with two light fixtures. It both works and displays excellent. The lamp shade alone measures 16″ in diameter and 9″ tall. Antique Early 20th C. American Slag Glass Lamp c. 1910 Lamp Base has damage. Our specialties are original period collectibles, with a focus on the French Empire, Art Deco, and Art Nouveau styles. Up for your consideration is a fine antique slag glass lamp, American, c. I do not know the maker, but the lamp is well-constructed and high quality. However, the gilded spelter base shows a crack near the lightbulb, and just below. It looks like downward pressure was applied to the top of the stem, causing the now stable cracks. Unfortunately, the lamp does not stand up perfectly vertically, but it may be able to be bent back (see the last few photos). It has been professionally rewired, and works perfectly. The shade has some dirtiness to the exterior, dark pin-tip spots within the recesses of the glass, as is common. The primary color of the shade is caramel. All glass is original, and free of chips, cracks, or damage. The piece measures 26″ tall, and the shade is 20″ in diameter. Overall, it weighs just under 17 lbs, so it is quite heavy, and well made. Antique Slag Glass 22 Panel Lighted Base Electric Table Lamp Perfect Shape
The overall height of the lamp is 25 inches. The base height is 23 inches with 6 glass panels. The shade is 18 inches in diameter and 12 inches in height and has 8 large glass panels and 8 small panels. There is no damage to the lamp anywhere and it was re-wired a few years ago. I have owned this lamp for 15 years and have been a collector of slag glass lamps for years. It was originally bought from an antique shop in Maine. Light bulbs are not included.
