6 Original Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Acorn Pull Chains for Handel Duffner
Here’s a really nice matching set of 6 original acorn pull chains. This is a very nice set with beautiful dark copper patina. Perfect for your higher end lamp or chandelier. When you consider the cost of the shade and base you are using these on, its really not that much more for the quality look of authentic acorn pulls. Original Antique Gothic Slag Glass Table Lamp Heavy Casting
This antique table lamp has a heavy gothic cast shade and base, made of either bronze or brass. The shade has 8 panels of slag glass in it, 4 green and 4 pink. The panels are held in with small bolts and tabs. The lamp lights up with a single pull chain socket that works well and has been rewired with cloth covered cord. The shade is 13 inches wide, the base is 6.5 inches wide and the whole lamp is 20 inches tall.
Original Kerosene Stained Glass Slag Lamp Tiffany Antique Mission Prairie Arts
This is an old kerosene lamp with its original stained glass shade, never electrified. All the glass is intact. The bronze or brass? Base is six-sided, with a heavy ring mounted as decoration on each side. The struts between the six panels are shaped into six scroll feet for the base. The kerosene reservoir sits in a circular hole in the top of the base. The six-sided shade is mounted on a metal ring that sits on top of the burner. The kerosene burner is marked Royal. The screw works, and the lid on the reservoir unscrews nicely. The shade has a decorative metal bead or band at the bottom edge. The only damage worth mentioning is a big dent in the bottom half of the reservoir, but this is invisible when the reservoir is in place. This lamp is just as it came out of an old garage, but I did dust it. The glass looks very different inside/outside, so I took some shots out in the sun so you can see the true colors. An amazing survivor, never electrified, still intact. The glass panels are not leaded in, they are loose in the framework. The framework for the glass looks newer at the top rim, so it might be repaired there. There are small dings, some crusty corrosion, etc. Normal wear over the years. It is 21 inches tall and 16 inches at the widest point of the shade, so it would work as a centerpiece on a large table.
Original Antique Amber Slag Glass Cast Metal Table Lamp Dual Bulb Circa 1900
Base measures approximately 20 in height. Shade measures approximately 13″ in diameter and 8″ deep. This lamp originally belonged to my great grandmother. I have a photo of it that was taken around 1920, so it is at least that old. All glass pieces are original and intact, each is held in place with tiny metal tabs. The only visible marking that I can find is on the light fixture (see photos-Bryant). It is fully functional, and finial is also included. All photos are of actual item. JAD Original 1920s Slag Glass Floor Lamp Cocktail / Smoking Table UNIQUE
As you see it in the pics. I took the 1920 Slag Glass Lamp from Chicago and cut the top off and attached a Vintage Guilded Edge heavy Silver Platter to it and the lamp is made from a Vintage Silver Sugar service with a Digital Fire Bulb in it for a Fabulous Effect. The table is ok to be out on the deck serving as a very romantic meeting point because its mostly sealed from moisture via silicone gasget around the glass. The slag glass bottom lights when the lamp is plugged in but the lamp on the table is switch controlled and different Modes can be achieved on the bulb by turning it on/off quickly twice so it stays solid lit or again to go to Flame mode. Came out exactly as i envisioned it! To change bulb simply pull the top with glass off and replace. The Rose and Cherry on the platter were put there by me and are solid Pewter cuz they look COOL. BTW this table saved my life as i had to many drinks got lost in the yard and crawled towards the firey lighthouse!!! Since most of the parts on this piece actually ARE from the Roaring 20s i can see why it was referred to as such… Oh and by the way… Those are vintage necklaces around the glass. This IS one of a kind! Every part used in the making of this lamp is used and may have imperfections, scratches or dents. Original Edward Miller & Co Slag Glass Lamp
Miller & Co electric lamp. Lamp is painted green and shade glass is primarily various shades of green and some brown mixed in. Slag glass is intact with no breaks or damage. Detail on shade is also in great shape with no breaks or missing parts. Socket is original and has Miller Lamps molded into the switch knob. Lamp was used for many years but was stored and did not work after being brought out of storage. No repair was attempted so no idea what the issue is. “Miller & Co 1083″ is cast into the bottom of the base. Lamp is 21 1/2 inches tall. ORIGINAL Handel Red Rose Trellis Leaded Slag Stained Glass Overlay Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. It is a shame that I even have to emphasize that this is an ORGINAL Handel overlay lamp, but the fact of the matter is that there are copies out there….. Those who sell these state they they are Handel lamps and many (if not all) are even signed. Pay close attention as to how it is advertised. Now that I have said my peace on this matter, if you are interested in an all original and absolutely beautiful example of a Handel rose trellis lamp, this may be the one for you. What is particularly great about this lamp is the glass they used. Most were done in simple caramel, white or yellow, but this particular example is done with a mix of deep red/purple/blue glass. The effect is to really enhance the roses and even the green leaves. It is truly an amazing example! I will my pictures do the rest of the talking here, and from these you can see the very elegant and well thought out design of this beautiful lamp. This is a full sized table lamp with an 19 1/2″ diameter shade that stands 23 1/2″ tall. In terms of condition, there are no cracks, breaks, or even pieces of filigree missing and the shade is just as beautiful and perfect as the day it was made. The shade is signed with a Handel tag as shown. The tripod form base is all original with a great reddish patina that highlights the roses extremely well. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you have ever wanted a truly remarkable example of a Handel rose trellis lamp, this is the one for you. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine. For anyone of you out there that buys or sells these, you know that if done correctly this amount won’t actually cover it. Original Handel Lamp Slag Glass Arts Crafts Antique Tropical S Border Shade
Up for your consideration is a very nice Original Handel Lamp Company Tropical Sunset S Border shade. This shade is 7 wide and 5 1/2 tall with a 2 1/4 fitter. It has one of the green skirt panels that has a tight crack, shown in one of the photos. This is common for these old shades, all other glass in crack free. This shade has very nice orange/reddish glass that looks amazing fired up. The shade is 100% original with the original reddish/brown patina with natural formed green verde through out.
