Large Antique vtg 21.5 BASE Only for Slag Glass Shade MLC 233. Works perfectly as shown, has a vintage cord in very good condition as shown. The top metal harp does need some readjusting to make it perfectly straight. It’s almost there but not quite. This is for a lamp base only. You will have to find a shade that fits your style. The base on this is approximately 7.5 in in diameter. There is pitting and some rust and discoloration as shown. If you have any questions please ask. This is a Vintage Art Nouveau style slag glass shade and lamp base. The shade has six slag glass caramel panels and the metal frame is an art nouveau with an Urn design. The lamp is 23 inches tall and the shade is 16 x 13 inches in diameter. The lamp has no markings. It has two sockets with pull chains. Lamp is great condition, no breaks or cracks to glass. Antique Oswald Schimmelpfennig Spelter Slag Glass Figural Boys Playing Well Lamp. DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful antique lamp by noted German designer Oswald Schimmelpfennig! Likely dating to the 1920s, when similar pieces have been dated, this figural lamp is crafted of bronzed spelter metal with green slag glass accent pieces. It depicts three boys playing at a covered well, which is fenced off. One boy pulls on the water pump’s handle while another puts his hand over the spout. A third boy leans over the fence, looking at the surface of the water, which is done in green slag glass. The piece is set under a roof with long oval shingles and seven windows, most of which retain their green slag glass covering. The windows on the sides of the roof, as well as one of the smaller dormers, no longer have their glass. The single-bulb lamp was rewired at some point in the late 20th century and has an on-off switch on the cord. This is a beatutiful piece, and will make an excellent addition to your collection! CONDITION: Lamp presents beautifully and is in very good antique condition, with minimal display wear and patina commensurate with age. There is minimal surface wear, micro-scuffing, and minimal loss to plated finish. Three panels of slag glass are missing from the windows. No chips or cracks have been noted. One side of the rail has come loose and it appears a figure is missing from the left side of the fence. Lamp has been tested and works.
