IT IS GOLD WITH LARGE SLAG GLASS INSERTS IN THE SHADE. IT IS VERY INTRICATELY DECORATED. THIS LAMP USES THREE BULBS, AND EACH BULB HAS ITS OWN PULL STRING, SO YOU CAN TURN ON ONE OR ALL THREE. I HAVE NOT FOUND A MARK ON THIS LAMP. I GOT IT FROM THE ESTATE OF AN ELDERLY LADY WHO TOLD ME THAT HER GRANDPARENTS HAD GOTTEN THE LAMP YEARS AGO FROM A LAWYERS OFFICE. Antique Carmel Slag Glass Lamp
Here is very nice antique Carmel Slag Glass Lamp. It stands 2 ins tall and the shade is 13 1/2 ins wide. It has 6 panels all in excellent condition. It has a double pull chain socket cluster which operates without any issues. The slag glass panels have a nice rich Carmel color. It is all original except the finial which is newer but looks great and blends very well with the rest of the lamp. A few of the clips have been soldiered and this is pretty common on these antique panel glass lamps. Please look at all the pics as part of the description and ask questions if you have any. Antique 6 Panel Art Nouveau Era Caramel Slag Glass Iron Table Lamp Rewired 22H
From a New England estate. Authentic antique mixed metal table lamp with shade consisting of 6 panels of caramel swirl slag glass. This lamp has been rewired and is in working condition. Repeating Art Nouveau Era floral pattern in steel shade framework connected to an urn shaped midsection with a molded classical swag pattern cast iron base. There is a tight line in one of the panels which we inspected and stabilized when removing and cleaning the glass panels. The line stops 3/4 of the way down the panel and is noted in photos. Uneven original black surface is worn at the top of the shadecommensurate with age and use. We’ve not attempted to correct this. Sturdy iron base has the number 54 inscribed on the bottom. Measures about 22″H X 16″W. Shade is 16″W X 8″H. Base measures 8W. C 1910 Mosaic Fruit theme leaded glass lamp. Lamp is 26 tall. Foot 6 each side. Shade 18 x 9. Truly all old shades have fractures if not it’s been corrected and If not with original glass will not show correctly so I prefer if they are line fracs tight in place not loss of glass I’ll choose the original glass. 2 vintage sockets period style cloth cord & plug.
