Caramel Slag glass lamp, Art Nouveau Era
The lamp is exceptional. I have submitted lots of photos for you to look at. Two outlet, electric cord in good condition, no grounds. Pull chains operate well on both sockets. All slag glass panels are in perfect condition. Base is a gun metal of sorts. Finish is flaking in several areas. I removed the felt on the bottom to decipher any marks. Measurements are: overall height is 23 1/2. Shade height is 12. Shade width is 18. Base is 8 1/2 wide. Each slag panel measures approx. All metal around the shade is in good condition and unbroken. Felt will be included in the boxes. The lamp weighs 15-16 pounds. Lamp base in one box, shade in another. Early 20th Century Slag Glass Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Miller Arts & Crafts
This is a very large, beautiful, early 20th century slag glass lamp with a rare, lighted base. The lamp also features very uncommon colorful glass. The lamp appears to be all original. It is in excellent condition considering it’s age with 2 exceptions. One of the upper curved panels has a hairline crack that has been stabilized with what appears to be epoxy. It is nicely done and the crack is nearly impossible to see what the lamp is not lit and very easy to overlook when the lamp is lit. The other issue is a bit of missing filigree on one pane. Again, an untrained eye would probably never notice. I have detailed these issues with pictures. Aside from that, the lamp works and is beautiful both lit and unlit! Antique Bradley Hubbard Genie Overlay Slag Panel Lamp 12 Handel era Arts Crafts
Up for consideration is fine 1920′s Bradley & Hubbard Genie Lamp with nice Brickwork overlay 12 paneled shade. The piece stand about 12 inches in height and measures about 7+ inches in length. It functions and the lattice work is completely intact… The 6 larger curved panels are in fine condition. However on of the small flat rectangular bottom panels has been taped together… This is an a very minor issue and can be repaired easily by most people locations that cut glass and of course it is a common color of glass light carmel slag… The base looks to have been painted black at one time… The base is heavy well made and shows great detail in the casting… If you have any questions or something to share please message me.. Antique Early Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Duffner Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. While I hesitate to assign a maker there, I do believe this to be a very early came leaded shade from the either Chicago Mosaic or JA Whaley. It is a very cool and very well made lamp with deep blue iris flowers against a caramel background. Came leaded lamps were much earlier than their standard foiled counterparts. They are heavier and in many cases much higher quality. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any setting. The glass is just beautiful and the design is totally floral. In terms of size, this is a standard sized table lamp with a 18″ diameter shade that stands 23″ tall. In terms of condition, I see one or two small cracks, but nothing serious and no replaced pieces. The 4-footed base is not signed but does have nice old hardware (including two Hubbell branded sockets with their original porcelain interiors and satellite ended pull chains). This is a great example of an early came leaded lamp in wonderful condition with a beautiful pattern and great glass. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
