Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a beautiful example of Duffner & Kimberly’s work. The shade is done in an upside down basket style, and the peony floral pattern is reproduced twice on the shade. I have seen this style shade with hollyhock flowers, but this is the first example of a peony one that I have come across. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass is all original and there are maybe 4 or 5 small cracks here and there. The shade is 18″ in diameter and the lamp stands 24″ tall. The simple colonial style base has its original finish and sockets and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord. Folks, nice floral lamps from Duffner & Kimberly do not come up all that often and I can honestly say that you won’t find one in as nice or in as original condition as this one. If you have ever wanted a great example of a true Duffener & Kimberly original lamp, this may be the one for you. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period. Handel Arts Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Vintage Antique Bradley Hubbard Era Lamp
I have for sale this very very nice Handel leaded hanging shade. This is a seldom seen arts and crafts design that only Handel has ever used for their lamp works. It has great glass and It measures 24 inches wide and is 12 inches tall. There is no missing segments of glass and the leading is all tight and right throughout. This is a great hanging shade and extremely well built. No broken areas of glass and the leading all tight and right. The original handel hardware still in place including several links of the original very heavy chain and its five socket (all matching) cluster. Pair of Highly Decorated Victorian age Slag Glass Lamp Bases. A pair of what appears highly decorative Victorian + lamp bases unsigned. The lamp on the left appears to be brass with original hasp and heat cap. The socket is working with a weather thumb turn socket, recently rewired and works. The lamp on the right is heavy and appears to be made out of metal. This lamp is highly decorated from the base all the way to the socket. The socket is a Yost thumb turn socket with original hasp, cap and finial. Both appear to be in good condition for their ages. Both lamps stand approx 22 to the finial. Pittsburgh art noveau lamp with bent slag glass shade
This is a beautiful Pittsburgh table lamp in an art noveau style. The lamp has a decorative base with a single stem and two light sockets. Each socket has a chain pull. The lamp metals are finished in a gold gilt. The shade has a decorative brass with caramel color bent slag glass inserts. It is marked on the inside of the base of the lamp. The lamp is 24″ tall and 16 1/2″ across the shade. The wiring is old and should be replaced for everyday use. Antique Unique Brass Trumpet Lamp for Leaded/Slag or Stained Glass shade. This is a beautiful antique table lamp. This lamp is approx 22″ tall with a shade diameter of 18 1/2″. The base is a huge approx 9 1/2 diameter. It has three Hubbel sockets and nine inch Acorn pull chains. The approximate top opening of 3 1/8 is accompanied by the original cap and finial. Rewired and in working condition. Very Hard to fine, we could not find any breaks in the glass. There was also a comment that it could be a lamb brothers they made. Arts and Crafts Style Antique Lighted base Slag glass Lamp. Typically there are approximately three sizes of these kinds of lamps, this piece is in the largest group. It stands 24″ tall with an approx 18 1/2″ shade diameter and an 8 1/4 base. All the glass has chipped ice style ribbed glass, all in MINT MINT condition. The artwork in the lamp is truly spectacular, there are no breaks, cracks or chips that I can find, nine panels in total. Intact ornate metal overlay, no breaks I can find. I took a lot of pictures of the metal work and you can see that it is ornate from bottom to top. The top shade and bottom base light up separately as shown, the base light has a separate pull chain. This piece is unsigned but was probably made by Miller? I plugged the lamp in when I received it and everything is working properly. The is no base plate on the bottom, this is a very heavy lamp as you can well imagine with all the glass and metal work. I will be listing some top end lamps that I have available.
