1920s ART NOUVEAU SLAG GLASS LAMP
This 1920s Art Nouveau table lamp has a cast metal shade frame & base with a rolled brass tube & cast brass finial. It has been restored in copper. The eight slag glass panels are white with light brown & honey swirls. All slag glass panels are original & in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The lamp stands 24 tall and is 19 1/2 wide. Original Ostender pull chain sockets are rewired with cloth covered wire & the original bakelite wall plug. This classic Art Nouveau slag lamp is ready to grace your favorite side or end table. Antique Miller Bent Slag Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh Empire Styles
This is a Beautiful signed Miller lamp from the 1920s. It has its original fine patinated Gold finish from the sculpted base to the top of the finial. There is some wear to the high spots on the beautifully sculpted base column which adds to its look and character. It is in wonderful condition. This lamp stands 23 inches tall to the top of the finial. The sculpted base stands 21 inches tall on it’s 7 1/2 inch diameter base. The Shade is 16 1/2 inch in diameter and the variegated carmel bent slag glass shade is about 61/2 inches tall. All the sculpted overlay is complete with almost all of its original finish and the bent slag glass is all there without any cracks or breaks. The lamp has been correctly rewired and everything works perfectly. The fluted and sculpted vase like column has a great patinated tone and look to it. The bottom of the base is marked “MLCO, 233″. Bronze Green 1920s Lamp With Brass/Amber Slag Glass Shade
Ohio, is a bronze green lamp with fluted post and two small handles. Cream and amber slag glass and intricately decorated polished brass shade. Two pull chair sockets. Bottom of base is marked with pattern number 2209, and appears to be made by the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Company see book entitled, Better Electric Lamps of the 20′s and 30′s. Edited and published by L-W Book Sales. Highly worked piece made from quality materials and among the first designer lights — Tiffany was a famous example — that arose with the arrival of electricity. Measurements: 23.5 total height to top of shade. Shade edge diameter: 58. Weight: light: 8.25 Shade: 8.55. The lamp is in top condition for its age and use. No dings or repairs on bronze.
