Antique Signed Bradley and Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp Very Ornate Base. This is a very elaborate B&H slag glass lamp. I think this is the first one I have seen with a marble spacer. Most of the other metals, other than the base, appear to be made of brass. The lamp stands 19 1/2″ tall with a base of over 9″. The marble is multi- veined with no chips or breaks. The lamp has been recently rewired, has two matching bell chain pulls. We invite questions to be asked at any time!!!!! . These are an investment for people who choose to collect the finer items. Antique 1920′s Art Nouveau Painted Slag Glass Table Lamp Very Original 2Restore
For sale here is an incredible antique 1920′s Art Nouveau colorfully painted slag glass table lamp. This is right out of the roaring 20′s, super fancy and elegant. VERY delicate and thin. Very tall and wide. This lamp looks complete with all original matching parts and panels. All slag glass panels match and have a hand painted stencil that is VERY unusual. The outside of the glass is actually a satin finish. This lamp used to be very colorful and mostly black and green with reds and golds. The neck shows areas that used to be black but have worn down to the spelter. It must have just been STUNNING when new. Original antique sockets with matching SATURN ball pull chains. Matching finial at the top. I see two clean breaks around the outer ring on the shade. Easy repair for an expert. I also see cracks in the base that should be addressed. The lamps stands fine and sturdy but I want let you know about the base cracks. In the right hands this lamp will be a museum piece for only the best antique houses. Measures 24″ tall x 18″ in diameter. This is a three light socket lamp and has a wonderful present in a room. You can use this lamp as is or restore it back to its colorful original glory. I don’t see a makers mark but I haven’t taken the base apart. There is a sticker on the felt that reads BELGIUM. If anyone recognizes the maker I would love to know. Thank you for looking!
