Up for sale is this very nice clean circa 1920 Bradley & Hubbard leaded stained glass lamp. Lamp is signed on the base has two sockets with pull cords. Shade is leaded stained glass in the mission or Arts & Crafts style very popular in the early 20th century. Multiple facets of carmel, green and rose colored glass. Base has nice incised achanthus leaf design on the base. Very nice clean design that will go with almost any decor. Lamp has been re-wired with modern cord and interior sockets are new. Previous owner has kept the original pull cords. Wonderful old lamp ready for service. Please see all pics for details. Dimension: Stands 18″ tall with shade measuring 14″ in diameter. Good condition without chips or cracks to glass. Possibly two panels were replaced in the past (thicker cane) but glass is identical. Minor edge wear to metal consistent with age and use. RARE Lamb Brothers&Greene Co. Chicago, Leaded Caramel Slag Stain Glass Table Lamp
“RARE” Authentic Genuine Lamb Brothers & Greene Co. Chicago, c1900 Leaded Caramel Slag Stain Glass Table Lamp. The circular base is copper plated spun sheet brass in a deep brown patina-the base has some wear and scratches due to use and age. The base supports a three socket cluster witch -2 are Hubbell sockets with acorn chain pull strings and one has been replaced and is not working which needs adjustments(this is the only part that has been replaced and the rest of the lamp is all original). The heat cap is spun brass with acorn finial. The shade is lead filled caramel color slag glass with insertions of red stain glass jewels. There are 3 pieces of the slag glass that has slight heat cracks in the caramel glass. All of the slag glass is surrounded with lead and very secure and solid in place(nothing is loose). MEASURES: The shade- 17 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ Pole- 22″ x 9″ Complete lamp from top to bottom- 27″ x 17 1/2″. ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT ONE SOCKET! We have taken more then 12 pictures which 12 is the amount aloud. Antique Ornate 6 Panel Curved Stain Slag Glass Lamp Shade Nice Vintage 10 1/2
The Shade measures approx. 10 1/2 inch in diameter, and about 7 inches tall. All of the fine detailed metal work is in very nice condition , with no damage or repairs. All 6 matching glass panels, are also in nice condition , with no cracks, or damage. I put a 12 watt light under the shade in some of my photos, to show all 6 panels are shown. All the metal tabs, that hold the glass panels in place are there, holding the glass in place. I can tell the top of the shade, where it would rest on the lamp harp, has been modified, to a smaller hole , to fit most lamps now. I also have a photo where I unscrewed and removed that adapter, to show you where it was. I took it off to see what was under it, and there is a top hole, about the size of a nickel , that was likely needed for the harp on the original lamp base. Cost on this , to any of the 50 U.
