Most of these Handel lamps that I have seen out there have periwinkle designs…… This one is quite different with a band of red cherry flowers! Nice lamp with lots of color and a super cool design/ Handel Co. In that lamp shade used very an expensive slag glass which calls — ” sunset/surise” slag glass. 18″ diameter shade, 22″ tall. I see no cracks, it looks like an excellent condition. The copper wash style base has a beautiful -like finish. It has its original old 3 Hubbell sockets with their original porcelain interiors and acorn ended pull chains. It has been wired with plastic style cord and a nice looking old plug and the lamp comes ready to use and enjoy. Please look at picture # 10— lamp shade signed, has original metal tag “HANDEL”!!! Vtg Arts & Crafts Signed HANDEL Slag Glass Leaded Overlay Single Bulb Lamp Shade. 5 1/4 wide, 4 7/8 tall. Fitter is 2 1/8 diameter. Antique art glass lamp shade. Six panels of curved glass with metal overlay. It is signed HANDEL on the metal near the top fitter. There is no damage to the glass. Has a hairline split to the metal fitter thats not structurally significant. There is some damage to the metal at bottom of two panels. And the vertical piece that connects them needs re soldered. Antique Rose Slag Glass 8 Panel Table Lamp Shade, & Signed Rainaud Base
Antique Rose Slag Glass 8 Panel Table Lamp Shade, & Signed Rainaud Base. This is a Fantastic Original Finish Rose 8 Panel Caramel Swirl Table Lamp Shade & an Old Signed Rainaud Lamp Base also original finish. The top of the base needs to be changed to except the shade. These two pieces came from the same estate the base had a cloth shade on it when found. I’m not sure that they go together and if they do why the person would change the top to take the cloth shade. The Slag Glass Shade was in a box and looks to me like it had not been on a lamp in years. The Shades frames colors match the base but the background colors are slightly darker on the base which I have seen on a number of lamps!! The shade has great Roses on all the panels and all the glass is in good condition. The only issue I see on the shades frame is one of the sets of tabs that hold the slag glass is missing, it still holds fine! There is also a shade cap that fits the shade and a finial both have an off color. If you have the part to put it together it will be a great lamp. The shade is 8 3/8″ tall 19 3/4″ at widest points top opening is 3 1/4″, the base is 22″ to top of harp and total weight of all is 12 pounds. Thank you for your interest! In the case of a Holiday it may take a bit longer!!! But don’t expect to find anything remotely Victorian!! Up for your consideration is a fine antique Handel slag glass and metal overlay lamp, c. The solid bronze base is marked “Handel”, and stands 24 tall from base to finial. The 16-panel slag glass & filigree shade measure 17.5″ wide and 8″ high. Though unsigned, the shade is a well-known Handel shade. The lamp is in superb original condition. There are no breaks or cracks to the glaa. It retains its original acorn pull chains and three socket cluster. There are no flaws to the other glass panels, or losses to the filigree. The acorn finial and heat cap are original, and all have a nice, rich patina. The wiring appears safe, but was likely last updated in the 1970s. This quote is for the Continental U. When it lits —very nice amber, honey, caramel, yellow tone colors, lower panels have “OAK LEAVES & ACORNS” pattern with green, brown colors, 4 lower panels were replaced. No damage to lamp base , only a few “frog skin” oxidation spots which is usually for lamp over 100 years old, very strong structure!!! The lamp base has original cluster with three original “HUBBEL” sockets with original pull chains and finials. Shade has metal tag/stamp on the ring-”HANDEL lamps” and lamp base had green felt with stamp “HANDEL Lamps” on a side of the bottom which was lost /please look at the pictures/. Most popular and classic colors! In very good working order. Shade has 19 3/4″, lamp base is 21.5″!!! All parts are original, original heat cap, original cluster with three “HUBBEL” sockets with original pull chains and finials. Very nice rich dark chocolate patina. Antique Slag Glass Lamp Signed Miller Co
This very ornate slag glass lamp is in very nice condition, other than the flaws mentioned above. It is 20 1/2″ tall with the base being 7 1/4″ in diameter. The color looks as though it is the original on the metal, although I can not be positive if it had been painted this color. Pictures 5 & 6 show the metal a black color, although that color came from the camera, with the pictures 1-4 being the actual color. It is stamped “ES” for the Miller Co. On the bottom of the lamp. Bradley & Hubbard Lamp. Presented for your consideration is this beautiful slag glass lamp made by Bradley & Hubbard. The base features a leaf-like design around the top of the base with a drape pattern around the bottom of the stem. The bottom of the base is marked with Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. The original bronze coating is still intact with minimal wear. Apl’d For is marked at the top of the base. The shade has 8 panels of caramel colored slag glass with 8 smaller panels underneath each larger panel. A beautiful, ornate filigree is over the top of each panel. Inside edge is marked with Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. There are 2 pull chain sockets and a small finial that complete the lamp. This beautiful lamp would make a great addition to any antique or vintage lighting collection! A great lamp to use everyday! Very light wear on the base. No dents or dings in the metal. However, there are two very small cracks in the filigree over one panel of glass. No chips or cracks in the glass. Overall in EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details. It retains its original acorn pull chains and three socket cluster. There are no flaws to the other glass panels, or losses to the filigree.
