Antique Old World Tall Ship Nautical Bridge Arm Lamp White Slag Glass Shade
We view lamps as more than lighting, we view them as art. As more than a way to brighten a room, a way to brighten ones day. It features a pull chain on/off switch on the socket. It is in very good to excellent antique/vinatage estate condition. We converted the from floor lamp to table lamp. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in the glass shade. It measures approximately 24 inches front of shade to back of base on back side as shown in gallery photo, 19 inches in down position, 6.5 inches in diameter for shade, 9.5 inches in diameter at base and 28 inches tall. Stamped on base: EW E678 – PAT APP FOR. Measurements (approximate): 22 3/8″ tall (base to top of finial), with a base diameter of 6″. In very good vintage condition. No cracks or chips to glass. Metal is clean with no breaks. Lamp is very substantial and sturdy. Lamp works but as with all vintage lighting, we recommend checking and updating wiring if necessary. VINTAGE ART DECO HUBLEY CAST IRON SHIP GALLEON RADIO LIGHT With SLAG GLASS SHADE
Measures 13″ tall 12″ wide and about 4 front to back. It’s stamped with the number 5 on the backside of the cast iron. Paddle switch socket is marked “Leader” on the paddle. Everything is original except the cloth cord and bulb. There is some age ware to the original paint. The slag glass has some very minor chipping around the edge. There is one area at the bottom that has a surface chip that doesn’t show when the shade is mounted. The tape helps protect the shade from chipping and moving. There was at one time a piece of medical tape at the bottom that had hand written the word “front” on the glass but it has fallen off over time. I have left the tape residue to remind me which side is the front but it can be removed. The residue doesn’t show when the glass is mounted. Most of these original shades have been broken over the years because they are easy to knock off the mounting brackets. Cord was replaced with new UL approved cloth cord in 2001. Antique 1900s Art Nouveau Green Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Rewired FREE SHIP
For sale here is a beautiful antique 1900s Art Nouveau green/caramel slag glass table lamp in very good condition, rewired and ready to use. This lamp is large and heavy and very well made. I dont see a makers mark. Most likely a MILLER. This is a matching shade and base lamp. Both are octagonal and have a large leaf theme. The leaves at the base are beautiful relief and the same leaf is reflected in linear design in the shade so the light can pass though. Very beautiful when all lit up. The glass looks to all match. No cracks or breaks in the shade. Amazingly no missing or broken pieces of that very fine line work in cast metal. The base has exposed brass elements that add a nice detail. There are trim pieces, the sockets and the finial in exposed brass. The Base finish is not original. It is a matte dark bronze. You could easily touch this up if you wanted. This lamp measures 24 inches tall x 19 inches in diameter. I have rewired this lamp with high end bronze cloth covered lamp wire. There is a lot of cost there and time!
