For sale is one previously owned Vintage Art Deco Lamp: Horseman with Nude Damsel, with a Tiffany Style Slag Glass Shade. Lamp Material: I believe the base is made from resin. Shade Material: Tiffany style glass. Included: Lamp with extension cord, Shade, Finial with threaded shaft and washer (bulb is not included). Vintage: Uncertain, but this has been in the family for decades. Lamp Dimensions: 14 inches wide, 6 inches deep, 29 inches high. Lamp Base Dimensions: 9-1/4 inch wide, 5-1/4 inch deep. Shade Dimensions: 16 inches in diameter, 9 inches high. Cord Length: 63 inches. Socket: One-way control with pull-chain. The socket leans to one side (see photo; does not effect operation and cannot be seen behind the shade). There are imperfections in the shade. It is in very good to excellent antique/vinatage estate condition. We converted the from floor lamp to table lamp. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in the glass shade. It measures approximately 24 inches front of shade to back of base on back side as shown in gallery photo, 19 inches in down position, 6.5 inches in diameter for shade, 9.5 inches in diameter at base and 28 inches tall. Stamped on base: EW E678 – PAT APP FOR. Measurements (approximate): 22 3/8″ tall (base to top of finial), with a base diameter of 6″. In very good vintage condition. No cracks or chips to glass. Metal is clean with no breaks. Lamp is very substantial and sturdy. Lamp works but as with all vintage lighting, we recommend checking and updating wiring if necessary. VINTAGE ART DECO HUBLEY CAST IRON SHIP GALLEON RADIO LIGHT With SLAG GLASS SHADE
Measures 13″ tall 12″ wide and about 4 front to back. It’s stamped with the number 5 on the backside of the cast iron. Paddle switch socket is marked “Leader” on the paddle. Everything is original except the cloth cord and bulb. There is some age ware to the original paint. The slag glass has some very minor chipping around the edge. There is one area at the bottom that has a surface chip that doesn’t show when the shade is mounted. The tape helps protect the shade from chipping and moving. There was at one time a piece of medical tape at the bottom that had hand written the word “front” on the glass but it has fallen off over time. I have left the tape residue to remind me which side is the front but it can be removed. The residue doesn’t show when the glass is mounted. Most of these original shades have been broken over the years because they are easy to knock off the mounting brackets. Cord was replaced with new UL approved cloth cord in 2001.
