Antique Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp Arts & Crafts B&H Handel Miller Era NICE
This is a beautiful, early 20th century slag glass lamp in wonderful condition for it’s age. The lamp features a large, heavy and very ornate base with what looks to be all original finish. The shade matches and features 6 large curved panels and 6 smaller ruby red panels. All glass is free of cracks or damage. The lamp appears to be all original excpt for maybe the finial, sockets and cord. We collect and handle a lot of this type of lighting and can say this one is larger than average. Antique Ornate 6 Panel Curved Stain Slag Glass Lamp Shade Nice Vintage 10 1/2
The Shade measures approx. 10 1/2 inch in diameter, and about 7 inches tall. All of the fine detailed metal work is in very nice condition , with no damage or repairs. All 6 matching glass panels, are also in nice condition , with no cracks, or damage. I put a 12 watt light under the shade in some of my photos, to show all 6 panels are shown. All the metal tabs, that hold the glass panels in place are there, holding the glass in place. I can tell the top of the shade, where it would rest on the lamp harp, has been modified, to a smaller hole , to fit most lamps now. I also have a photo where I unscrewed and removed that adapter, to show you where it was. I took it off to see what was under it, and there is a top hole, about the size of a nickel , that was likely needed for the harp on the original lamp base. Cost on this , to any of the 50 U. BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE U. I WILL NEVER EVER FALSIFY INFORMATION ON CUSTOM FORMS TO ANY COUNTRIES. I describe all I see and all I know about each item. Antique Pittsburgh Flower Basket Filigree & Curved Caramel Slag Glass Lamp Nice
Antique Pittsburgh Brass Glass & Lamps flower basket filigree table lamp light. Very nice displayable lamp light. (6) Double curved Caramel in color stained glass panels in damage free condition. Base is marked for Pittsburgh and is in good condition. Shade filigree has a small area where separation of the metal filigree has occurred, shown in pics. There are 3 separations at the fitter area as well, shade rests properly and safely as it is. At the very top center where the panels come to a point there is wear, 4 of the points are worn away from the filigree. Overall height is 22″, shade width is 18 1/2″. 2 pull chain sockets work ok. Pull chain ends are different, 1 has a Saturn pull while the other has a brass ball or bead, chain is a little longer on the bead pull. Electric cord is a modern replacement. Tested safe functioning lamp. As found, I did not clean or change the lamp in any form. Please see all pics.
