Nice Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Lamp by Wilkinson Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really great looking floral lamp by Wilkinson. The irregular pattern in the floral border is particularly attractive and the knotted top base is in my opinion one of their best designs. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, and from them you can see the outstanding look of this multicolored floral work of art. This is a full sized and very impressive leaded floral lamp with a 18″ diameter shade that stands 24″ tall. Its in excellent, all original condition and appears to have been very well cared for in its over 120 year life! I see maybe 1 or 2 small cracks here and there throughout the shade (which is itself pretty remarkable), and no repairs or replaced pieces. The base is super heavy and has the wonderful knotted top design I mentioned earlier. It has all of its original hardware and has recently been rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Wilkinson made some really great lamps and this is a very fine and highly colorful example of a great one. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
Nice Handel Slag Glass Rose Border Overlay Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is very nice Handel rose border overlay slag glass lamp. Its a good, old, orignial one….. I believe it is an early one where the border panels were not painted. They used some unusual glass in this one…. Pale blue/green with streaks of purple and green throughout. Very nice muted look…. Not nearly as common as the ones that use caramel and green glass that come up all the time. It is a full sized table lamp with a 15″ diameter shade that stands just over 21″ tall. Condition is very good with no cracks in any of the glass panels and all of the filigree present and undamaged. Shade is signed Handel Lamps in the ring as it should be. The copper colored, 3-socket base fits very well with this shade and appears to be original to it. It is signed Handel in the metal near the cord exit. Recently wired up with cloth braided twisted cord and ready to use and enjoy. Overall this is a very good looking Handel slag glass overlay lamp in very good condition. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. There are areas of fading, patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in slag glass shade. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. Antique Filigree 4-panel Bent Slag Glass Table Lamp. Nice
This is a beautiful vintage lamp with four highly detailed oriental filigree slag glass panels (amber & cream). Which was passed down from her great grandmother. I have no idea when it was crafted or from where. There does appear to be an Asian stamp under the lamp’s base but I wasn’t able to get a clear picture of it. The lamp’s approximate height is 15″, base 15″ diameter, shade 21 diameter. Each shade panel is 5-1/4, and weight is 6 lbs.
