NICE Handel Silver Slag Stained Glass Reverse Painted Shade Lamp Base with Ring
Here’s a really nice and pretty unusual silver Handel triple arm lamp base. This is a base that needs a really special shade and if you have such a shade this base will add tremendous value to it. Its a beautiful, all original base with its original silver plated finish. What’s more is that it comes complete with its original cap, finial and even shade ring set. The finial is very unusual on this one…. Its a solid glass ball (1 7/16 in diameter). Its a large base suitable for an 18-20 shade. It stands about 22″ tall with a bottom that measures 7″ in diameter. The finish is a little pitted here and there, but overall very nice for a 100+ year old base. It is not signed…. Probably had the felt bottom with the cloth Handel tag. All socket shells are matching PAISTIE branded ones. No interiors and (obviously) not currently wired. Scarce American Metal Overlay Slag Glass Desk or Table Lamp 1920 Nice Condition
This listing is for a scarce antique desk or table lamp of unusual columnar design. Although unmarked, it was manufactured in the Unites States during the 1920s or 1930s. The ornate metal overlay is backed by rippling amber slag glass that glows marvelously when illuminated and gives the impression of a lantern being held aloft. What makes this particular lamp unusual is its large size (roughly 24.5 inches tall) and use of metal overlay. Most lamps of this columnar style from the 1920-30 period are smaller and lack metal overlay, which was normally employed on flat panel lamps. Perhaps owing to its fragility, relatively few examples of this model have survived, and the majority of those have condition problems. The offered lamp, however, is very well preserved. It retains the original surface decoration of bronze-brown with gold highlights. All the metal overlay and glass panels are also intact. The lamp worked properly at the time of photography, as shown. But because used wiring is notoriously fickle, I cannot guarantee that the lamp will continue to function once it has left my possession. That said, the lamp is clean and wonderful – and ready for your home! And now for the fine print.

Antique Art Nouveau Beng slag glass lamp very nice caramel Bradley hubbard
It contains 6 bent slag glass panels in a brown caramel Color. All glass is perfect none broken or chipped. The base has a crack on the cast iron bottom weight but the rest is in great shape. A gold wash color. It needs to be rewired, the cord was cut off from it.

Nice Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Lamp by Wilkinson Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really nice looking and early floral lamp by Wilkinson. The reason I say early is due to the use of curved glass in the shade, which was done earlier on. This pattern with the floral border is fairly common in Wilkinson, but the later versions have all flat glass. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, and from them you can see the multicolored floral apron with a brickwork upper part. This is a full sized and very impressive leaded floral lamp with a 18 1/2″ diameter shade that stands 24″ tall. Its in excellent, all original condition and appears to have been very well cared for in its over 120 year life! I see maybe 2 or 3 cracks here and there throughout the shade (which is itself pretty remarkable), and no repairs or replaced pieces. The use of bent glass and really thin lead lines attests to the quality of this maker and really adds to the beauty of the lamp. The base is super heavy and has a wonderful dark brass colored finish. It has all of its original hardware and has recently been rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Wilkinson made some really great lamps and because of the bent panels in this one, I’d say it is one of their better early floral ones. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Nice Handel Slag Glass Rose Border Overlay Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is very nice Handel rose border overlay slag glass lamp. Its a good, old, orignial one….. I believe it is an early one where the border panels were not painted. They used some unusual glass in this one…. Pale blue/green with streaks of purple and green throughout. Very nice muted look…. Not nearly as common as the ones that use caramel and green glass that come up all the time. It is a full sized table lamp with a 15″ diameter shade that stands just over 21″ tall. Condition is very good with no cracks in any of the glass panels and all of the filigree present and undamaged. Shade is signed Handel Lamps in the ring as it should be. The copper colored, 3-socket base fits very well with this shade and appears to be original to it. It is signed Handel in the metal near the cord exit. Recently wired up with cloth braided twisted cord and ready to use and enjoy. Overall this is a very good looking Handel slag glass overlay lamp in very good condition.
