Vintage Currier & Ives Slag Glass Hanging Lamp New England Four Seasons
VINTAGE CURRIER & IVES SLAG GLASS HANGING LAMP NEW ENGLAND FOUR SEASONS. This lamp looks to be in very good condition with no chips or cracks and minor signs of use. The lamp has no hanging chain included and is untested as the cord needs to have a plug added or it needs to be hardwired. This is a beautiful hanging lamp! It has caramel colored slag glass panels that are hand-painted with Currier & Ives scenes. There 6 panels, 2 are “Autumn in New England, Cider Making”, 2 are “Winter in the Country, The Old Grist Mill”, 1 is “American Homestead Summer and 1 is “American Homestead Spring. They are beautiful scenes that look fabulous against the caramel colored slag glass and the fantastic metal work holding the panels together. Outdoorsman Hunting Fishing Scenes Slag Glass Currier & Ives VTG Brass Lamp
Vintage mid-20th century and in excellent, working condition. High quality construction with a beautiful patina on the brass pedestal and a welded brass shade framing the four different panels of textured glass. The slag glass is white with shades of golden brown streaking through it which create a warm glow when lit. Each panel has a full color lithograph of men and dogs, hunting and fishing for deer, trout, salmon and ducks. RARE VINTAGE HUGE SLAG GLASS CURRIER & IVES BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE COURTSHIP LIGHT SHADE. Here is a very unique and large slag glass shade. There are eight slag glass panels with various Currier & Ives pictures depicting beautiful Antique courtship couples in green scenery. This shade measures approximately 10 1/2″ in height, and it measures approximately 18 1/2″ in diameter at its widest.
