Up for consideration is this Awesome Antique Table Lamp featuring Convex Bent Cream Slag Glass Shade. The base was originally a floor lamp and features marble and slag glass accent spacer. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. There are areas of age related faded, chipping, missing Paint and rust on base (see photos). There are no cracks or breaks in any of the slag glass. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. Ryan’s Relics Auctions. Nice old lamp in great shape overall. Lamp was partially dismantled when we got it. Screws missing in the base and in the arms into the shade, and we replaced them. One small piece of molding missing in the inside of the shade that holds in one of the slag glass panels. Another molding is loose. NO damage to the stained glass. Not sure if this had a cap on the top of the shade, if so, its missing. Does appear to have the faded remnants of a makers mark on the bottom of the lamp base, but so faded cannot make it out. It was in the process of being restored by previous owner. The wire looks as though its a newer reproduction cloth wire with old hard rubber plug. Please inspect its carefully if going to use for safety. Measures approx 23″ in height, shade is 14.5″ square X 6 in height. ANTIQUE arts & crafts LAMP slag stained glass TWELVE PANEL brown mission 1910
ANTIQUE AND NOT A CHEAP REPRODUCTION! Made in the USA circa 1900. Made of all metal and stained glass. 12 BEAUTIFUL SLAGS IN ALL. (green, pink, beige) It has a mix of cast iron and worked metal. You will need 1 twist bulb found at any hardware store. You can use incandescent, LED, or even CFL type. LOOKS FANTASTIC WHEN BACK LIT OR EVEN WHEN NOT LIT! None of the 6 pieces of slag glass have cracks. The socket works as it should with no issues. The cord is free of any shorts. The recently refinished brown metal body is in good shape with light signs of age. The cord looks like it is a replacement from around the 1960′s. Three set screws fix the shade level and nice and tight. Two of the green slags are a little more transparent than the other two. 13 1/2″ wide and 23 1/2″ tall. It will will be protected very very well and insured. Let me know if you have any questions. RARE- W. B. Brown Co Red, Gold Slag Glass Arts & Crafts/Mission Lamp early 1900′s
Rare and beautiful, from my parents estate I offer for your consideration this wonderful large mission arts and craft table lamp. It is a large lamp The shade measures approximately 12 inches from top to bottom, approximately 22 inches wide and the base of the lamp is 16 inches tall not counting the four wooden holders that holds the lampshade. The lamp is in very good shape for its age. I see that it had been rewired for there is a new socket on the lamp. The slag glass is in really nice shape. A long the rim of the shade you have a heart shaped in the center with smaller openings for slag glass. There are tiny cracks, on the four sides. You have to look real hard to find them. This is truly a beautiful mission Arts and craft styled lamp. Please look at all pictures very closely for they are part of the description. B Brown “Mission Oak” table lamp intended to evoke the image of a tree – the “affordable” and “every-man” version of the Tiffany table lamp of the same era. Brown lamps were rarely signed, including this one – but the origin is unmistakable. Classic proportions and free of over embellishment – this is the one all wanted and impossible to find in this original condition and most-popular green glass color – no dents, scratches or cracks.
