Arts & Crafts Chicago Mosaic or Lamb Brothers Leaded Slag Glass Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a beautiful floral boarder leaded lamp that I believe to be made by either Chicago Mosaic or Lamb Brothers. Super look with a mix of red and pink flowers with green leaves against a pale caramel background. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the very elegant and well thought out design of this beautiful lamp. This is a full sized table lamp with an 18″ diameter shade that stands 23″ tall. In terms of condition, I see only three ties at the top with minor hairlines…. Otherwise it is as perfect as the day it was made. The pot metal base has aarts & crafts looking design. It is heavy and sturdy with a wonderful dark greenish finish. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Neither the base nor the shade is signed, and either Chicago Mosaic or Lamb Brothers would be my best guess as the company that made it. It is a wonderful, antique, 1920′s era lamp in very fine overall condition. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Vintage Victorian Salem Brothers 8 Panels Slag Curved Glass Boudoir Lamp C. 1920
Fine Arts, Antiques and Collectibles. Vintage 1920′s Salem Brothers Victorian lamp in a smaller size suitable for a boudoir, desk or entrance table light Fixture. The lamp is made with cast iron base and cast metal filigree shade. The lamp hase white finish enameled patina and the eight amber slag glass panels. Unmarked but was made by Salem Brothers. Total height: 15 3/4 (40cm). Base diam: 5 1/4 (13cm). Widest point of the shade: 11 (28,5cm). Very good overall condition. The patina has light general wear. The original curved slag panels are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The lamp has ben rewired and works very well. Antique Arts Crafts 1913 LAMB BROTHERS & GREENE Leaded Stained Slag Glass Lamp
Up for sale is a stunning example of the LAMB BROTHERS & GREENE Leaded Stained Slag Glass Lamp. I believe this is a dogwood flower lamp shade. The lamp not the shade was advertised in a publication in 1913 see attached. I was informed the lamp and this shade were advertised in a Furniture trade review in May 1913 as well but I couldn’t find a copy of it. There are two slag glass panels with cracks but they are tight not loose cracks. Overall a stunning bronze lamp and slag glass shade of very high quality. This lamp measures approximately 24″ to the top of the finial the shade is approximately 18″ wide and 7 tall. HUGE Lamb Brothers Floral Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Handel Pairpoint Duffner
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is the largest and in my view been the nicest lamp design that Lamb Brothers & Green ever made. The design is just fantastic, especially with the prairie style shade with the very slim boarder. White daffodils with green petals against a nice caramel background just make for a terrific lamp. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see multiple views of the lamp from different angles. In terms of size, this is a massive table lamp with an 22 1/2″ diameter shade that stands 27 1/2″ tall. I would call condition close to excellent with a few very minor cracks here and there (the two most significant are pictured with red arrows). The 2-socket, brass toned base is 100% original including its cap and finial. Has been recently wired comes ready to use and enjoy. Lamb Brothers did not sign their shades or bases so of course there are no signatures on these either. This is a very nice and clean example of a high quality stained glass lamp by Lamb Brothers & Green. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. This is an absolutely wonderful Original Salem Brothers Bent Slag Glass Lamp. It is in near mint condition with almost all the original finish on both the base and the overlay of the shade. The lamp stands 23 inches tall on its Salem Brothers marked 7 inch base. The shade is 16 1/2 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall. All the glass is there and in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The beautiful multi toned finish is great to see. Check out the photos. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly.
