Antique Cast Iron Slag Glass Mission Arts and Crafts Night Light Miniature Lamp
This stunning little light is an oddity. I have not been able to find another example. It measures 5.25 inches tall. The shade is painted tin and slag glass. The base is cast iron. The only mark is pat applied for on the the shade. It is in excellent condition. I plugged it in for the photos, but the cord is very old, appears original and needs replacing to be safe. ANTIQUE arts & crafts LAMP slag stained glass TWELVE PANEL brown mission 1910
ANTIQUE AND NOT A CHEAP REPRODUCTION! Made in the USA circa 1900. Made of all metal and stained glass. 12 BEAUTIFUL SLAGS IN ALL. (green, pink, beige) It has a mix of cast iron and worked metal. You will need 1 twist bulb found at any hardware store. You can use incandescent, LED, or even CFL type. LOOKS FANTASTIC WHEN BACK LIT OR EVEN WHEN NOT LIT! None of the 6 pieces of slag glass have cracks. The socket works as it should with no issues. The cord is free of any shorts. The recently refinished brown metal body is in good shape with light signs of age. The cord looks like it is a replacement from around the 1960′s. Three set screws fix the shade level and nice and tight. Two of the green slags are a little more transparent than the other two. 13 1/2″ wide and 23 1/2″ tall. Antique Arts & Crafts Nouveau Miller 8 Panel Slag Glass Lamp
Arts & Crafts signed Miller lamp. The shade has 8 panels with deep amber slag glass on the top and green slag glass on the lower section with decorative metal overlay. No chips or cracks in the glass… Couple glass metal holding tabs missing, bur still secure. The polychrome finish is especially nice. Has the original turn key socket with replacement cord. Overall height is 20 high. 12″ by 12″ shade. Just under 6 1/2 base. Note that the original cast iron shade harp support has a slight bend which does not detract from the overall appearance, but does “slightly” position shade off-center of base… I have not tied to straighten. Antique Bradley Hubbard Style Arts Crafts Slag Glass Mission Lamp
Beautiful recent estate find. Antique Bradley Hubbard Style Arts Crafts Slag Glass Mission Lamp. Width of this lamp shade is 17-1/2″ and the height is 26-1/2″. 15 to the bottom of the shade. The base measures 8 wide. Very good condition with no chips or cracks. Two sockets, {dated 1910}, for the bulbs. Lamp has been tested and works good. The cord is a cloth cord and the plug is an old two prong plug that should be replaced. There is no maker marks. The top slag glass pieces are a slag caramel in color and the side pieces are a purple/blue in color. No cracks or chips in any of the slag glass pieces. No filligree loss on the shade but one of the corner pieces has come loose and needs to be repaired. Should not be that big of a deal. Some age wear shown on the base post. Rare and beautiful, from my parents estate I offer for your consideration this wonderful large mission arts and craft table lamp. It is a large lamp The shade measures approximately 12 inches from top to bottom, approximately 22 inches wide and the base of the lamp is 16 inches tall not counting the four wooden holders that holds the lampshade. The lamp is in very good shape for its age. I see that it had been rewired for there is a new socket on the lamp. The slag glass is in really nice shape. A long the rim of the shade you have a heart shaped in the center with smaller openings for slag glass. There are tiny cracks, on the four sides. You have to look real hard to find them. This is truly a beautiful mission Arts and craft styled lamp. Please look at all pictures very closely for they are part of the description. Wilkinson you can see the “copy” close to a Duffner style shade. Lots Of great translucent brickwork blended with 4 floral splashes each side of shade. Wonderful art glass and a super rare shade. I believe it’s early they seemed to use the best glass and better leaders early in the forming years of the Wilkinson Lamp Co. Stands 25″ tall 8″ wide foot. Shade 16 x 7. Overall in superior Antique Condition. Aperture ring is the normal notched to fit on pegs in the original cap on this base cap is not a recast.
