Such a beautiful lamp!!! As found, Absolutely gorgeous purple/lavender slag glass from the late 1800s to early 1900s. From the art nouveau period. This lamp is Antique and the FOUR Purple Slag Glass panels are CURVED. This would be beautiful as a Boudoir Lamp or really anywhere as an accent lamp. Glass is in perfect original condition. The cord has been replaced as well as the harp. There is a little paint loss to the hard metal (not lead) which is common in a lamp this old and adds to the antique charm. The light bulb is not included. THESE PICTURES ARE NOT ENHANCED!!! This is how the lamp looks in natural light streaming in from my window, both on and off. This lamp stands – 11.5 inches high. Large Art-Deco Bridge Style Table Lamp. Ornate cast iron base. The decorative glass pieces are a type of Jadeite Houze glass and yellow Vaseline Uranium glass. The yellow pieces do glow under a black light. All metal pieces, cast iron and brass, have been refinished in an oil rubbed bronze quality paint with a light clear coat. The lamp has been completely rewired with a cloth covered cord appropriate to the period. The 8 sided jade color base makes this piece stand out. This piece makes a real statement standing at 37 inches tall. The shade shown in a couple of the pictures is shown as an example only and is not included. Antique Purple Slag Glass Lamp/beautiful Scenic Overlay
ANTIQUE PURPLE SLAG GLASS LAMP/BEAUTIFUL SCENIC OVERLAY. This outstanding example stands 22 1/4 tall, the shade is 141/2 wide. The base is 6 1/2 wide. It is is in overall excellent condition. I tried to capture the beautiful purple color but was unable to capture it. The lamp is extremely heavy , the cord and plug are good and was probably rewired at one point and a newer socket was used. If you are looking for a statement lamp , this is it! There are some numbers or letters on the base which I cant read. Antique LARGE Green Caramel Bent Slag Glass 16 Panel Lamp Floral Art Nouveau
Up for your consideration is this wonderful large slag glass lamp featuring 16 panels with a floral overlay. There are no makers marks on this lamp. The only mark is a few on the electronics. Those are all pictured. Light sockets are stamped HUBBELL. This is in great condition considering its age. This lamp can be dated back to the early 1900s. That being said it does show a few blemishes on the base and the shade itself has a few spots which look like paint splatters. These spots on the shade are pictured and can easily be removed. Glass itself is in amazing condition and is free of any cracks or chips. Acorn Pull Cables are in excellent condition and function very smoothly. Power cable is nice, clean, and free of fraying or damage. This is just an amazing lamp and will look amazing in any room. This is very heavy and weighs 20lbs.
