We are pleased to offer a great vintage floral lamp The lamp has a great design with a floral band mid way down with the original bluish green finish This has a double pull chain socket, pull once and one light goes on, pull again and the second light goes on The lamp has an adjustable shade rest with wing nuts, it can go as low as 18″ and up to 22″, one wing nut has been replaced with a screw The lamp is 22″ to the top of the shade rest and the base is approximately 7.75″ The shade rest outside diameter is 3.75″ and the inside is 3.25″ The lamp has updated wire and plug but will need a finial and shade The condition is good and ready to use, the base has some ware Bulbs are not included. Leaded Stained Slag Glass Floral Table Lamp, circa 1910, s from late Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts time period. The lamp shade has 18 inches in diameter with original heat cap. I made all pictures with day lights, flesh and without lights to show how is so nice blooming flowers looking! I see only a few (3-4) heat line cracks. The lamp base has 25 inches tall including finial and signed under bottom of the base (please look last picture). The lamp base has a very nice original greenish ,, frog skin” patina and three old sockets with pull chains and finials. In very good working condition. Antique Victorian Art Nouveau 6 Panel Slag Glass Lamp Shade
This is an authentic piece from the Era of 1920′s-30′s American Manufacture. This lamp shade is shown as it was restored to the original condition professionally. One of the panels of glass was broken in half and fortunately it was’easily’ glued with cyanoacrylate. (Super Glue) and is barely visible even with the lampshade lit. The body of the shade is spelter which is an alloy of tin and lead it was damaged in one minor location (approximately 1 or 25.4cm) and was repaired with an acrylic’bondo’ type of automotive putty and was carefully retouched with oil base paint. It is not shown as I can not find it easily. It is shown on a base which is not included or available. The panels were color matched from the original and fully repainted with an acrylic base flat paint on the inside as original. You will note from the lighted photos that there are unique differences in the value of light and dark areas due to the difference in the amount of paint applied to cover the’bare’ spots. It does create a unique ambience that some may not find attractive yet for others it is a joy to see the change’of season’ with the light and dark backgrounds. It also shows the inclusion of blue (which was present in the original) as light and dark also. We value our customers and believe that the integrity of our offers stands as our feedback. Handel / Unique Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a super beautiful 2-tier floral boarder leaded lamp that is the combination of a Unique shade and a Handel base. These often appear out there and as long as they don’t have a HANDEL tag in them or a Handel ring in the top, they are most likely antique (like this one is). This is a guaranteed, period 1905 lamp, and not a reproduction. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the very elegant and well thought out design of this beautiful lamp. The reds are deep and vibrant and contrast extremely well with the greens in the background pieces. This is a full sized table lamp with an 16″ diameter shade that stands 21″ tall. In terms of condition, I see a few ties here and there with minor cracks in them. There are over 500 pieces in this shade, so it is actually pretty hard to notice them anyway. The base is a wonderful Handel ribbed form with a nice 2 socket cluster. Its in nice original condition with a great deep brown finish that matches the shade very nicely. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Neither the base nor the shade is signed, but again, beware of the shades like this that are as many that were made in the 1970′s bear a Handel tag. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine. For anyone of you out there that buys or sells these, you know that if done correctly this amount won’t actually cover it. HUGE 28 Chicago Mosaic Floral Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Shade Chandelier
Here’s an absolutely MASSIVE and extremely colorful Chicago Mosaic floral shade. This shade is just huge…… 28″ in diameter but only 9 1/2″ deep. As with most Chicago Mosaic shades, the colors are just incredible. These guys used primarily granite backed glass that really fires when lit, and this shade is an excellent example of this. Some of these really large shades have issues with broken, replaced or sagging glass, but this one does not. It is in incredible shape. I see maybe a couple of small cracks there and there, but nothing serious. Also, there do not appear to be any replaced pieces. It is really just as good as the day they made it and ones in this condition are truly hard to find. This shade would be best as a hanger…. Maybe over your kitchen table or in the living room. You could also make a great floor lamp out of it if you could find the right base. Its just a beautiful, HUGE, and extremely colorful example of Chicago Mosaic’s finest work.
