Handel base lamp with Hubbel sockets and leaded glass shade. 24 panel top and 24 panel side, no broken glass. The lamp stands 21″ tall, the shade is 14″ wide. Large Handel Slag Glass Lamp with Extremely Ornate Filigree and Multicolored
Large Handel Slag Glass Lamp with extremely ornate filigree, multi colored glass. This lamp base is a bronzed patina in perfect condition. No scratches, dents, no rust as you can see in the pictures. It is a fully original base, three light with original pull chain, sockets and finial. The lamp shade is a spectacular multi-colored glass with an extreme amount of elaborate filigree which makes it extremely heavy, which we believe is a non signed Handel. As you can see, the top and side panels have a multitude of colors including yellows, greens, reds and blues. A truly spectacular piece which is an unusual find. The scalloped edges are well defined and very unusual in its design. They do not come around very often at this level. One of the lower edge glass is missing the clips, glued. This cannot be seen from the outside. Remember this shade was made one hundred years ago when they cut glass by hand. Small nick in one piece as shown which is inconsequential. The lamp is a tall 24 1/2 inches and 17 fro corner to corner with a hefty ornate 7 1/2′base. The lamp has been rewired and ready to enjoy. Nostalgic Lighting Policies READ. Antique Vintage Art Deco Slag Glass Light Fixture Pendant Lamp
A slag glass and stained glass outdoor / indoor light fixture. The base material is metal. Some of the gold paint is missing. The larger glass pieces are caramel and white colored slag glass and the smaller upper glass pieces are reddish orange. All of the glass pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. I would define the style as “late Art Deco” possibly from the late 1920′s to early 1930′s. The fixture was in good working condition with the original wiring when it was taken down. I highly recommend having it re-wired. The length of the fixture from the top of the ceiling canopy to the bottom of the finial tassel is 32.75. The length of the lamp itself, from the top of the finial to the finial tassel is 18. The overall width is 7.5. It could use a wipe down with a damp cloth or sponge. Feel free to ask any questions. Up for consideration is a Rare Duffner Kimberly Snapdragon leaded glass lamp. These lamps don’t come up often and here is your chance to get a real beauty guaranteed a Duffner & Kimberly lamp. Pictures do not do this lamp justice. This is a large lamp with the shade being 21 1/2 Dia. The base stands 26 to the top of the finial. Duffner used really fantastic glass in this shade with some tight heat cracks which are very common in these orig. No loose or replaced glass. The base has a 3socket cluster with acorn pulls. The base has a wonderful brown patina. The lamp has been rewired with period brown cloth wire and old plug. A great and rare example from Duffner & Kimberly. Thank you for looking.
