Here we have a really unique circa 1920′s era CYLINDER FORM BENT PANEL SLAG GLASS SCENIC LAMP we acquired out of an estate. It has three filigree scenic sides with a swimming swan. It is fairly tall measuring approximately 21 inches high with a 6 1/2 inch base. This is not an example we have ever seen, and imagine it is not an easy lamp to find very unique! The over all condition appears to be pretty decent – see pictures. The gold paint looks like it may be original? But we’re not totally sure. It has certainly been there for a very long time. The caramel slag glass is in nice condition with no cracks. The pull chain works for off an on. It has a really nice look and would make for a nice touch in any room of your home you choose to display and use it in. The new owner is to pay 45.00 for secured FEDERAL EXPRESS. ART NOUVEAU Antique Slag GLASS LAMP Unusual Blue Green 8 Panels ARTS & CRAFTS
The description link will give you complete details. ART NOUVEAU Antique Slag GLASS LAMP Unusual Blue Green 8 Panels ARTS & CRAFTS. Beautiful antique slag glass 8 panel lamp with a lovely art nouveau shade done in blue glass with green accents. Gorgeous when lit and will enhance any decor. Measures 23 in height with the matching finial. Shade is 19 across measured at the bottom edge. Base is a sturdy matching 9. Single bulb with a classic push button switch. We believe this lamp has been rewired at one time but you may want to do it again with a more modern plug. Both the lamp and the base and the finial were painted a deep bronze color when manufactured. I think the base was repainted at one time as it is slightly more shiny that the metal on the shade. There are paint chips throughout and the most significant are pictured. Many are on the top near the finial where one would expect the most wear. If you’re considering this lamp, it is most likely due to the gorgeous rare color. You could, of course, repaint the metal parts or have a professional do it. I have owned this lamp for several years and never noticed them until I began to inspect it throughly for listing. I found the paint issues no detraction especially when the lamp is lit. It does show its age, as many of us do. It can, however, still light up a room beautifully, as many of us can’t. Please contact me immediately if you cannot meet this requirement. All tablecloths are freshly laundered and painfully ironed for your immediate enjoyment unless’as found condition’ is mentioned! All scarves are in as found condition and dry cleaning is highly recommended prior to wear. I try to describe each item perfectly, but there is always the chance that I have missed something. Antique Handel Lamp with unusual elaborate slag glass shade
Antique Handel Lamp with unusual elaborate slag glass shade. This is a nice Handel base lamp, stands 22″ tall with a 6″ base. It comes with two Hubbell sockets with Acorn pull chains. The patina is gold like in color and condition consistent with age. The shade has been been attributed to the period of the base. The shade is extremely unusual with six concave sections in brilliant colors (see pictures). The shade is accented with colored gems (cabochon) mostly used by older high end shade designers. No crack or breaks in the base or shade. Lamp is working and has what appears to be a period Acorn plug. I will be listing some top end lamps that I have available. Recent estate find, had to outbid a few guys but I could not resist purchasing this very unusual flared wing design lamp and shade. I have to say that through all my years of collecting I have rarely, if ever, seen such a rare and unique slag glass shade as this one. This lamp stands out among the many different styles that we see in the usual market place.. Sure to catch your eye. The lamp stands 19 1/2′ tall and believe it or not it is 16 1/2 from tip to tip. The lamp itself is a chocolate brown color in mint condition…. It has a single socket and pull chain. The eight panel shade has such a standout design that is complemented by its condition. The filigree, shade runners and top holder are in mint condition see pictures. The filigree and slag glass panels are free from cracks or breaks as far as I can see.
