Antique Slag Glass :Lamp with Unusual Flared Shape Design Nouveau/Handel Era. Recent estate find, had to outbid a few guys but I could not resist purchasing this very unusual flared wing design lamp and shade. I have to say that through all my years of collecting I have rarely, if ever, seen such a rare and unique slag glass shade as this one. This lamp stands out among the many different styles that we see in the usual market place.. Sure to catch your eye. The lamp stands 19 1/2′ tall and believe it or not it is 16 1/2 from tip to tip. The lamp itself is a chocolate brown color in mint condition…. It has a single socket and pull chain. The eight panel shade has such a standout design that is complemented by its condition. The filigree, shade runners and top holder are in mint condition see pictures. The filigree and slag glass panels are free from cracks or breaks as far as I can see.
