Fine antique French petite gilt bronze art nouveau table lamp! Please read the entire listing including pictures and ask questions. Immediately after the listing ends. This beautiful table lamp stands about 18″ high and is 6″ wide at the base. Lamp has been rewired and has a pull chain socket (USA) with. A double cut crystal pull on the end of the chain. The wire is cloth covered cord. The shade is multicolor leaded variegated slag glass. One panel is decorated. With gorgeous metal filigree art nouveau decoration. The width of the shade is. No chips or cracks in the glass. There is minor age wear on filigree. See photos in close up. The pictures don’t do it justice! Sometimes the flash of the camera may make picture colors appear slightly different. Items I sell are used and old and as such may show signs of wear and age. Antique Handel Leaded Slag Glass Table Lamp Tree Base Signed
American Art Nouveau Handel Lamp with a. Domed shade with shaped rim edge. The brown patinated naturalistic base is formed as a tree trunk sitting on a wood base that someone added, it is probably signed underneath. The shade is impressed with Handel on it in beautiful green marble slag glass and cream on the lower edge. The design over the cream slag glass is of leaves which would be for the top of the tree. There is a crack in the one panel of the cream slag glass that goes down to split it in two. The other crack is in a corner which I have shown both in the picture, they do not detract from the beauty of the lamp. There are three sockets for the bulbs and it has an old cord. A Handel leaded slag glass and patinated metal table lamp, circa 1910. The shade is 18 5/8 inches across and 9 1/2 inches high. Signed Handel 3 socket full tree trunk Lamp with22 slag glass leaded shade
Signed Handel full 3 socket tree trunk Lamp w/22 slag glass leaded shade. This is a massive Handel lamp base with an enormous leaded shade. The lamp base retains its original patina consistent with its age. The ornate tree trunk design is clearly defined (see pictures). The extension on the top was made by Handel for larger shades made during that period. The lamp stands 26 tall to the top of the finial, it has Paiste sockets with acorn pulls. The shade may have been made by Handel or made for them. This shade design is shown in the Paul Crist Book on page 161 in the domical shape, peony design, although some of the colors may have been made up custom. As he suggests shades of this design could have been made by Hamilton Howell designer of Duffner and Kimberly shades. But the shade was definitely made for a Handel Lamp at some point. You can tell by the shade ring in the glass that fits perfect to the Handel ring, my assumption is that possibly someone had the lamp base and added the shade with the riser at some point? The lamp appears to have been recently rewired. I will be listing some top end lamps that I have available. We invite questions to be asked at any time!!!!
