Beautifull Riviere Studios Antique Mission Arts & Crafts, Claw Foot, Slag Glass Table Lamp. The Lamp Stands overall 24″ High with the Shade at 12 3/8″ x 12 3/8. It looks to have been rewired in the 50th or 60s but not properly. One of the light sockets will not light up , most likely due to the wiring. There is a Nickel size hole in the glass and several cracks as shown in the pictures. Still even with the damage, this lamp displays Beautifully. Has beautiful Beaded edges and amazing roped chain edges around the bottom of the shade. The base in one and shade separately. The inside cracks will be taped with scotch tape to prevent further damage. Please feel free and contact me with any questions. Same with the leading quality and patina on it, world class. The shade is full sized measuring in at 18 inches and the telescoping cats paw base, also a Tiffany copy, goes from 23.5 to 30 inches tall. Both shade and base without issue which means for the base no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. Very nice patina which matches the shades as well and again the base telescopes with just a turn of a know. A very cool feature. The floral shade in excellent condition as well with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The leading throughout tight and right and again, the patina spot on. The glass of great quality and please notice the lower rim border whereas its has rippled/drapery glass for that final great attention to detail. Also, as you can see, this shade lights up super well and its even better in person. If you need more photos let me know and i will send them. The base needs no excuses whatsoever. Zero damage of any sort. The base measures 10 inches tall to the arms and the spread is 4 inches from the center of the socket. Arms can be adjusted of course to fit a different sized shade but at this setting an 7-7.5 inch would be best for now. Properly signed tiffany studios 322 new york. AUTHENTIC Tiffany Studios Oak Leaf & Acorn Leaded Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. For those of you who know me or who have bought from me in the past, I do not typically deal with Tiffany lamps. They are generally just too expensive for what you get, and even worse, there are just too many good copies out there. But every once in a while I do come across one that is unquestionably authentic and is fairly priced….. And this is such a case. This is one of their 18 oak leaf and acorn lamps. I probably do not need to say much more here since if you are familiar with this lamp you know exactly what it is. This one is very nice, and ALL ORIGINAL. 18″ shade (7 1/2″ deep), 22 1/2 tall. Signed TIFFANY STUDIOS 1467 on bottom rim as shown. Extremely nice condition with maybe two or three small cracks. Gold wash on leading is nearly 100%. 3-socket gold dore base is also all original with its original finish, Perkins turn keys (Bryant shells), and ORIGINAL CAP. Base is stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS, NEW YORK, 585 I don’t have this pictured since I ran out…. In keeping with the ALL ORIGINAL theme, the base still has its original wire (I know Tiffany collectors like to get them this way, so I did not have it replaced). This wire is frayed and broken in many places and as such the lamp DOES NOT LIGHT UP RIGHT NOW (the lit images are of the shade put on a different base). If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Antique Tiffany or Riviere Studios Leaded Stained Slag Glass Boudoir Lamp Base
Here’s a nice, all original, Tiffany or Riviere Studios boudoir lamp base. I have had this for a while but can never seem to find a shade for it. It is old and original, with no broken pieces, repairs or replaced glass. Very odd size to find…. Probably would take a 8-12 shade. The base stands 11 1/4″ tall (to the top of the fitter) and is 4 7/8″ square at the bottom. Unsigned as far as I can tell, no socket and obviously not wired. This item is part of a recently acquired private collection. We will list in a few next weeks-antique, vintage art glass, lamps & others!!! The item came from clean home where it was cared for and displayed for the enjoyment of others. Unseen before it is now offered for a quick sale. Please ask any questions! My guess is — it is a very early a copy of a famous Riviere Studios Co.. Nice rich original patina all around of lamp. The mushroom /dome shape shade has 16″ in diameter by 7″ high, total size of the lamp is 25.5 tall including finial. The lamp shade has an expensive slag glass panels in marbelized hue green color. Metal frame made in very intricate design with ornate etched metal having scenes with storks on lake with blooming water lilies and other flowers. All two replaced sockets in good working order. The lamp base has 3-way switch/please look at the pictures/. No damage at all to the glass panels nor metal frame. Gorham Bronze Lamp Base For Leaded Slag Glass Handel Tiffany Studios Era
DESCRIPTION – This is a early 1900s lamp base by Gorham Manufacturing co. And signed’GORHAM CO. QV411′ Even though Gorham specializes in silver they took advantage of Tiffany’s popularity by making amazing lamps themselves. It has a bronze body on a wood base. It has a 3 light cluster with one pull and two turn-key style sockets. The 6 sided form would go great with an arts & crafts, art deco or art nouveau style shade. CONDITION – This lamp base is in great original condition. It has very nice even patina. The lamp has been rewired at some point and works well. The original finial and shade rest is included. It could use a good professional cleaning. MEASUREMENTS – It is 21.5″ to top of finial with a 7″ base. The shade rest has a total diameter of 2″ with an interior lip of 1.5″ like most standard Gorham shades. Tiffany Studios Acorn Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Antique Original Authentic
And, the floor lamps are particularly hard to find. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. Like most things Tiffany, not all are created equal. Even with their acorn lamps, it all comes down to the glass. This is an example of one of their very best ones. The shade is made entirely out of Tiffany glass and the colors are outstanding. I have seen many of versions of their acorn lamp and most are not that impressive. But not this one. You can see by just looking at it that this is one of their special ones. The mottling and color selection is just outstanding with cream colors which turn to deep orange in the background and bright greens in the acorns. All are made with Tiffany mottled glass! I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, since if you are familiar with Tiffany acorns you will not need me to describe this one any more than I already have. Suffice it to say that if you have ever wanted one of these….. A nice, clean, completely original one, this is your chance. This lamp came right out of a house and is 100% original. All original means no replaced glass, original 423 floor base with its original Bryant mica sockets and original turn keys, and ORIGINAL CAP….. Yes, ORIGINAL 100% guaranteed Tiffany cap! Some specifics: 10″ shade, 55″ tall. Signed with the Tiffany Studios New York. Maybe 5 or 6 pieces of glass with hairlines in them, but NO REPAIRS and NO REPLACED GLASS. Picture 5 has most of them in it. These cracks are really rather minor and I would not even try to replace them… Even if you could…. Which would be pretty hard since this is Tiffany glass made only in their factory. Original wiring down through the stem, then replaced with period style cloth braided cord coming out the hole (you can get the rest of this replaced if you want to, but I left the original wiring in there to show how original this lamp really is). Note, there are three original brass screws that screw the shade to the base. One has popped off from over tightening. It should be soldered on or glued on. I did not want to touch it. I leave it to the next owner to re-glue it so they know not to over-tighten. If you have ever wanted a great example of a true Tiffany Studios acorn lamp made with outstanding Tiffany glass in completely original condition, this may be the one for you. It is actually much better for both of us this way as they will fully guarantee it to get there without damage and if something happens they will 100% stand behind it without any claims hassle.
