DESCRIPTION – This is a early 1900s lamp base by Gorham Manufacturing co. And signed’GORHAM CO. QV411′ Even though Gorham specializes in silver they took advantage of Tiffany’s popularity by making amazing lamps themselves. It has a bronze body on a wood base. It has a 3 light cluster with one pull and two turn-key style sockets. The 6 sided form would go great with an arts & crafts, art deco or art nouveau style shade. CONDITION – This lamp base is in great original condition. It has very nice even patina. The lamp has been rewired at some point and works well. The original finial and shade rest is included. It could use a good professional cleaning. MEASUREMENTS – It is 21.5″ to top of finial with a 7″ base. The shade rest has a total diameter of 2″ with an interior lip of 1.5″ like most standard Gorham shades.
