Antique PITTSBURGH ART DECO Caramel Slag Glass Parlor Lamp LOVELY & WORKS
This Listing is for a BEAUTIFUL Antique Art DECO/ NOUVEAU Caramel Slag Curved Glass Parlor Lamp in WONDERFUL condition!!! The lamp is unsigned but I have been told that is is a Pittsburgh Lamp. If anyone else believes it is a different maker, please let me know. There is a small crack in one of the metal dividers up towards the top. It is not loose or separated. There is a surface crack in one of the shades that does not go through. There are a few blemishes on the overlay painted areas especially on the base & stem. Overall, this is a LOVELY Lamp! It does light up but there is a loose connection somewhere in the original socket that I just don’t want to tamper with. So when you turn it on, the push button, if moved up & down, makes the light flicker. I know it’s a simple fix for someone. The socket reads Bryant Patented Nov. 26, 1907, Made In USA. The plug at the end of the cord looks old and is missing some sort of a paper insulator. The actual cord looks remarkably good! The photos really don’t do it justice. If you need more photos, please ask. The lamp stands 20 1/2 tall to the top of the Artichoke Finial. The shade is slightly over 14 across. I believe this weighs around 12 lbs. I will use plenty of Bubble wrap and package it ever so carefully! I have a 100 % feedback score and that matters to me. Please check out my other items. Antique fancy slag glass tulip parlor oil lamp. Lamp is 18 1/2″ tall overall, 15 1/2″ tall to top of shade, 4″ shade ring, base is 11 1/2″ diameter. Condition is good, all slag glass panels are good, no chips or cracks. Ornate brass frame is good, all fancy brass filigree good. Lamp has a good Plume & Atwood oil font, no dents or stress cracks, good royal flame spreader. Font has a good lift gallery burner, draft tube and wick raiser. Hardware needs cleaned and polished, wick replaced. Beautiful parlor oil lamp, hard to fine lamp. Antique Coronation Parlor Lamp Art Deco Horse Coach Carriage Slag Stained Glass
For sale is a spectacular old coronation or parlor carriage lamp. It has the old green slag glass on the sides. The rest of the lamp is spelter metal that has almost all of the original paint. It measures approx 16 across, 10 tall and 5 deep. It has a removable top, with all of the wiring and Socket inside the carriage. It is in beautiful condition with no damage or repairs to the body or glass. There are 4 clips that should hold the glass panels in place. 3 of the clips are missing here, they used bandaids to hold the glass in place. This would be a very simple fix if you chose to, but tape works fine as its all on the inside of the lamp. An electrical plug needs to be put on the cord, also a simple fix, please see the last photo. This is a very rare lamp. Please contact me with questions. Coleman Slag Glass Parlor Lamp Shade For Deluxe/Aristocrat Quick Lite Gas Models
Coleman Model 336 shade used on the Deluxe and Aristocrat Quick-Lite gas parlor lamps. 16 inch diameter at bottom. 6 panels of variegated carmel colored slag glass supported by cast metal dividers. The shade was made by Miller for Coleman. Excellent condition but it does not have the correct center piece of the top or one wasn’t used. The person I bought this from had put together something to use this shade on an electric lamp. See last two pics. I’m not exactly sure how this shade was secured on the gas lamps. Shade will be double-boxed. Outer box is 21x21x21 and overall weight of package is right around 15 pounds. 1890′s 14 Victorian Miller Slag art Glass Hanging Parlor Oil Lamp
The Lamp has the original matching finish on all of the parts even the canopy retractor and oil font. The retractor works perfect adjusts up and down easily. The frame parts look to have original finish but may need to been cleaned as shown in pictures. The Lamp has the original miller oil font it has not been electrified no holes drilled. The top part of the oil font has one small stress crack in it , this could be fixed and still use this as a oil Lamp because the Stress crack is at the top. The retractor has the patent date of 1892 on it. I will include a tall chimney with the Lamp. There is no damage to any of the six art glass panels I cannot find any damage to the Lamp The only thing I see is one half of one of the little decorative ball is missing , also a few of the old Original to the Lamp red glass beads are missing seen in pictures. Lamp is 36″ tall extends down to 47″ the shade is 14 wide 7 1/4 tall. These all original art Glass hanging Oil Lamps are not easy to find.
