Antique Classical Adams Arts Crafts Slag Glass Bent Panel Lamp Original As Is
It has an old, working brass fat boy pull chain socket and later cord. It works and should be re-wired. The shade has some slight separations where the frame sections meet and is missing some small tabs that hold the glass in place. Someone went crazy with hot glue and this needs to be removed for a proper repair. The glass appear to be original and free of cracks and repairs. You will note looseness where the stem meets the base: the whole lamp base needs to be tightened up. Shade has a little warpage to it But It does not affect its appearance , two sections of the overlay covering the caramel colored glass sections are missing a few little pieces of the design And two pieces of the caramel colored glass appear lighter in color than the others perhaps replaced somewhere in time. Retains its original small pull chain socket that functions well and Wire is in Very good condition. Antique Vintage Slag Glass Table Lamp Art Nouveau, with pyramid style shade. Lovely Brown and Cream slag glass, all original. Absolutely no cracks or chips. Lamp is made of cast bronze, has decorative rams heads and garland. All Original paint and colors. Lamp has been rewired. There is very minimal wear on the lamp, see photo. Lamp measures 21 high, with original finial. The shade is 12 square, see photo. Total weight is approximately 11lbs. I did not completely clean it, just a gentle wiping. It has been in the family for many years. It comes with the original brass Yost lamp socket and switch. Excellent condition, Nice piece. Rare Original Bradley & Hubbard Aladdin Slag Glass Overlay Lamp. One of the rarest jewels to find in the world of antique lighting is this Bradley and Hubbard Aladdin lamp based art glass lamp. The glass in this lamp is world renowned to be the product of B&H’s early collaboration with Murano of Italy. Original untouched condition including wiring. Has the partial label B&H used: Patented Murano Aug. The lamp measures 11″ tall and the shade is 6″ wide. For reference the lamp is pictured and listed in the 2000 Antique Trader Lamp book on pgs. The finial appears bent, slightly crooked. One of the white bottom small panels has a crack; see 11th. Slight loss of overlay to one panel- see 8th photo. Weighs 8.5 pounds. It has a long cord in excellent condition with the Thumb Wheel switch to turn off/on. The plane lights up, the center section lights up, the base does not.
