Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp. Presented for your consideration is this beautiful antique bent slag glass lamp. The heavy spelter base features a tulip design around the top of the base and an ornate pattern around the stem. The base is completed with two brass turn key sockets and a finial to hold the shade in place. The shade has 8 panels of light green slag glass with smaller alternating caramel colored and white slag glass panels underneath each. There are strips of spelter separating each panel and filigree over the bottom half of each panel. The filigree over the caramel glass has an ornate design while the filigree over the light green glass has a palm tree design. In the center of the palm trees is a church. Nice, intricate detailing is present throughout the lamp. Guaranteed to be antique. At the time of listing the lamp is in WORKING condition. This great looking lamp would make a wonderful addition to any antique lamp or lighting collection! Great for every day use! Only one socket works and a small repair was made to one of the spelter strips on the shade. The finial sits crooked on the top of the lamp due to the screw on the base being bent. No cracks or chips in the glass. Metalwork is free of damage. Typical light wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
