Antique 12 Panel Slag, Glass Lamp, B & H Handel Era Red / Caramel / Copper C1910
This listing is for a beautiful antique 12 panel slag glass lamp. The lamp features 6 bent panels of streaked caramel glass and 6 lower panels of deep red glass. The base appears to have a cast foot section with a bulbous middle section of spun copper or bass with a nice copper wash. Very unique base for this style of lamp. The lamp has updated sockets and cord. All glass is in tact. Some of the larger panels have surface stress marks that are probably original to the time of being bent. This is somewhat common in this tyle of lamp but wanted to point it out. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES FOR BEST REPRESENTATION> The lamp is approx 21″ tall with the shade being 17″ diameter.

Antique Arts & Crafts Era Copper & Green Slag Glass Hanging Light. Material: Copper Frame & Green Slag Glass & Brass Chain. Ca 1900 – 1920. Measurements: approximately 8″ height to top, base measures approximately 12″ square. Condition: good, and works fine….. This lamp was rewired. Notice in the photographs that there are scratches on the copper frame, including a 1.25 scratch (which has a sticky residue) on the upper copper frame. These scratches may not show when the lamp is hung from the ceiling, it just depends on how far the lamp descends from the ceiling. This ceiling light is a nice antique arts & crafts era fixture and gives a nice color when lit. It could hang above the table, or above your desk, or above the game or pool table… You know where your house needs light.

Royal Art Glass Company Caramel Slag Glass table lamp with 8 bent caramel slag panels. Circa 1910 out of New York. Handel / Bradley Hubbard era. Marked and numbered underneath, the large base has 2 smooth working pull chain sockets marked P&S (Pass & Seymore) patented. Heavy cast metal features original surface finish. VG with possible later finial. Rewired with period silk covered cord and socket. No broken or cracked slag glass panels. No repairs or breaks, but some small fretwork has been “short cast” or is missing near top in 4 of 8 metal floral framework (see pics). Up for your consideration is this a rare and seldom seen on e bay market full floral leaded stained Slag Glass large table lamp made by Royal Art Glass Company in “Hollyhock” design, Circa 1910, s. That lamp was the largest version and most beautiful made by that company. Look at the finial and heat cap — really nice ornate design, has three original sockets. Look at the lamp base -_– how is beautiful it!!! Size of base is 27.5″ tall by 10″in diameter at the bottom. Look at the shade! It has ONLY 3 heat cracks in lower band of stained panels. Really , almost Mint condition for lamp shade which is over 110 years old! Size is lamp shade is 21 in diameter. This is a documented lamp! I put last picture with photo of that lamp from the book “Mosaic Shades, volume II” by Paul Crist, page # 318. Any questions, please ask.
