Up for consideration is a very nice Cast Bronze and Brass table lamp. I have no idea who made this lamp base but its very nicely done and could be a rare one? The lamp base is 12 tall to the top edge of the fitter ring. The foot is 9 in Diameter. The lamp base has a 4 socket cluster with Harvey Hubbell sockets and acorn pulls. The sockets have there original interiors and cardboard insulators. There are two sockets that have a couple minor cracks on the shell edge. The fitter ring is 12 in Diameter. When I received this base it was very dirty and had a very dry patina so I used some metal oil thats formulated for use on patina finishes to enhance the patina. It has a great original patina finish. Nothing has been replaced all original lamp parts from when it was made in the early 1900s. All four sockets work and are original to the base. It has been rewired with brown period cloth covered wire. The fitter ring has a few minor dings and is out of round in a spot shown in the pictures. That is a very common problem with a lamp with a large fitter ring over the years but does not detract from the lamp. This is a great lamp just need a nice shade. Large Art Nouveau Wilkinson Slag Glass Lamp Bronze Base
Brooklyn, NY Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is a beautiful Art Nouveau Wilkinson Co. Slag glass lamp, circa 1914. Lamp is very large and heavy with 16 panels of caramel colored and light green slag glass with a detailed overlay. Heavy lamp with a finely made base and shade. Lamp is 26″ in height and the shade measures 21″ across. It retains the original brown/green, verdigri finish. It has been newly rewired with a period style cord and has three Hubbell sockets with original acorn pulls and ready for use in your home. It is not signed but can be easily identified by the heat cap & ring assembly with locking mechanism, also pictured in an old ad as shown from 1914. Condition is excellent with no damage. I see many reproductions listed that are doubtful as their condition is near perfect. Take a look at photos for condition. The lamp base may not be original this lamp looks good as a hanging lamp as well. I have priced this lamp at less then half of what others are asking. Mission art craft stained slag desk lamp bronze handel tiffany roycroft stickley
A outstanding all original antique desk lamp in excellent condition. This lamp is extremely heavy for it’s size. The caramel slag that was used in this shade is very fine quality full of color and fire the photo’s don’t due it justice. There has been a repair made a long time ago on the base. The adjusting bracket was brazed back onto the base at one point it’s a very sound repair and will go completely unnoticed shown in the last photo. The original very dark patina is in excellent condition. The casting on the base and stem is very fine. The original pull chain socket switch is in perfect working order. Antique Gorgeous Slag Glass Bronze Lamp Miller B&H
Gorgeous and well made antique slag glass and bronze lamp. The shade is 8 two part panels, the top caramel color (which looks more orangish in the photos) the bottom curved green slag. Beautiful and extremely detailed metalwork from the bows on the top of the panels, to the wreath design on the bottom portion. VERY heavy shade with sturdy construction. There are two bow loops that have been broken off on the top of the shade, please refer to pics. This is hardly noticeable if placed in the back when displaying. No other imperfections I can see, no cracks or chips. The base is also very heavy bronze. It is marked with 098 but no maker mark or signature anywhere I can find. Double sockets both work and the finial screws on tight. Old cord and plug but in great condition. The lamp stands 25 tall. The shade is 17 in diameter.
