Nice flowy colors and design.
Goodwin & Kintz Leaded Slag Stained Glass Arts & Crafts Lamp Base Handel Era
Here’s a nice, large, floral themed lamp base by Goodwin & Kintz. I had never heard of this company before, but Paul Crist’s book Mosaic Shades dedicates a full section to it and even has this exact base, cap and all, shown (see last image). Its a great looking base suitable for a high quality shade. The repeating floral design on the bottom is really quite nice. 25 1/2″ total height, 9 3/4″ diameter at the bottom. Shade rest is 3″ in diameter and cap is 3 1/2″ in diameter. Looks all original including matching sockets, fancy cast cap and finial. I see no major dents, dings or even serious scratches. Uncommon pattern example from E. Industries PEH Arts & Crafts style blue slag glass lamp No. Marked both PEH and PH. Condition: LAMP IS EXTREMELY FRAGILE. Good condition – Top piece (where finial is attached to) is slightly detached. Minor sized piece of spelter is missing. 17″ tall, 13.5″ wide, 11.5?? Double socket cast base. 2 sockets are different. The bottom base is filled with Rosin. Wear consist with age and use. The cast base has crack. The top cover close to final has crack. The ring of shade on the top is not very tight because one side of the welding jointing falls off. The cord has some tapes. Measures: 26″ Tall (from finial to base) Base diameter 7″. Stands 23 inches to the top of the finial. Has an 8 1/4 Base Bottom. 3 1/4 inch Hole in the Shade for mounting. 16 panels one smaller one has a crack as seen in last photo. Shade when sitting on the table is 7 1/2 inches Tall. Shade Weight is 7 lbs. Lamp Base is 6 lbs. Shade width flat panel to flat panel is 15 inches across the flat sides. Shade panel width from one corner to the other side is 16 inches from the corners.

C1919 Bigelow and Kennard BK Antique Arts Nouveau Crafts Oil Table Lamp Copper Base 12 Panels Slag Glass 2 Pull Chains. Wonderful Arts & Crafts Lamp with 12 Panels of Blue Textured, Slag Glass on top and 12 Opaque Panels on the bottom. The underside of the base is initialed or marked “BK” Bigelow and Kennard, in a diamond shape, and there is a number “2″ on the underside. There is a gas wick part that sits on the top of the lamp that allows for the shade to sit securely. This lamp has 2 standard bulb sockets and 2 pull chains. One socket is working, the other side need attention. There are 3 blue or top panels with breaks, one is in loose condition. There are 2 white or lower panels that have breaks, one is in loose condition. Overall: 22.5″ T x 14″ W, Base is 8 diameter. Shade is 14″ W x 12.75″ T. The base is 22 tall. Vintage Slag Glass Lamp Antique Boudoir Lamp Slag Glass Lamp Arts & Crafts Lamp Art Nouveau Vintage Lamp Ornate Lamp. Arts & Crafts Lamp Art Nouveau Lamp. Perfect for a decorating that special area that is limited due to available width size. Very nice enameled Lamp and shade, the shade is ornate filigree and caramel slag glass/ stained glass panels in the Arts & Crafts manner. The slag glass panels are framed in ornate borders. Thick borders of filigree on the top and bottom of the shade featuring scrolls and leafage design, with unique panels of filigree between the slags provide a lovely glowing effect. The base has a matching enamel finish with four lions heads and fully decorated with laurel swags and floral arrangements. The base is hexagon shape adorned with high relief florals. The shade and stand are both gorgeous lit or unlit. The glass panels, filigree and base are in very good antique condition. There are triple sockets with switch, you can light one, two or all three of the light sockets indepently. This is old plus years old and will show signs of wear, normal creases may exist as is characteristic of old slags and to be expected. In very good condition, aside from one of the plastic candle holders being a little melted on the top. This lamp measures about 28 1/2 tall to the top of the acorn finial. The shade is 8 1/4″ at top and tapers towards bottom being 10″ to 11 at its widest. The base is about 8 1/2 wide with flowers and petal design. Of this item head on over to my Etsy Store.
