Antique 1920s Table Lamp Base for Slag Glass Shade
This is an antique table lamp base from the 1920s, made by Miller in the United States. The lamp is designed in a neoclassical style and features a shaded design. It is made of brass and spelter with an antique brass finish. The lamp has a pull chain control style and a brown cord. It is compatible with incandescent or LED lighting technology. The lamp is original and may contain lead, according to California Prop 65 Warning.

An Arts & Crafts Pink Slag Glass Brass Lamp, United States, c. This Lamp makes for the perfect contrast piece while staged in an array of interior styles. The shade includes 4 pink slag glass panels, each are recessed into the shade – It looks exceptional while illuminated. The brass stem of the lamp is nicely styled with a button motif. The underside of the Lamp is unsigned or marked. Condition: This Lamp was rewired with a modernized plug for longevity, it’s fully tested and works as it should. Repairs are shown to the frame of the shade, there aren’t any cracks or repairs in the glass although some of the panels show movement (but do not fall out). The shade was lacquered in gold over the brass plating, the stem and base are solid brass. Dimensions: 14″ wide x 20″ tall x 14 deep. Beautiful textured chipped ice reverse painted 3 panel lighted base. Untested but I’d be shocked if it didn’t work. So because I’m not testing. No damage to glass. Most of the reverse paint is gone on all but 1 panel. 1 panel is pretty nice. No damage to metal. Knob turns as should. Original finial and cap. Bottom opens and closes as should. A beautiful leaded slag glass lamp by the Unique Art Glass and Metal Lamp Company. This lamp has original base, cap and finial with a beautiful patina. The 17.5 diameter shade has an open tulip design with green leaves. Lamp base has two sockets with acorn pulls and floral decor at base. This is in original condition with great patina and new cloth cord. The shade has 3 corner cracks and w crack in leaf none of which deters from the overal beauty of the lamp.
