Vintage & Rare L&L WMC LOEVSKY & LOEVSKY METAL Lamp Base & 8 Slag Glass Shade. This piece is just gorgeous. The slag glass panels consists of amber blue and green. The cutouts that are nautical consisting of boats and lighthouses are brass. It looks as though the arms on top of the glass separating. The look is brass as well. The base looks to be of a heavy metal with the color bronze or solid bronze and heavy. This piece on the glass has no cracks or chips anywhere, it just needs a good cleaning. The shade itself is 11 in square. It goes 11 in and all four ways left to right. It is also approximately 9 in tall. The base from the table to the top of the finial is 18 in tall. The only thing I want to mention out of everything is that it looks that the top of the finial is missing, but with what is left, the three pieces the shade stays on securely. It’s just in the future. You may want to consider getting a topper to finish it off. As you can see, everything works as it should. The electrical was probably replaced sometime a while ago but it does not have the really old cord from one it was made. It was probably changed out in the 60s or 70s but it works as it should and it’s in good condition. Great for any antique decorated home or any nautical themed home on the beach.
