This lamp Is very large measuring in at 24 inches tall with the shade being 20.5 inches wide. The base with no breaks, cracks, or losses in the metalware and in fine working order. The base also in original green patina which is seldom seen especially in this good of condition. Its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord, old style plug, and its green in color to match the lamp base as well. The leaded shade also in very good overall condition and structurally sound throughout. The leading tight and right throughout, and the glass quality/coloration very good as you can see how nice this lights up in the photos. No glass losses or breaks to be seen. I have to assume the base and shade have always been together for the past 100 years or so because they are nicely matching, as well as the total proportion of shade and base. Antique Slag Glass 4 Panel’helmet’ Electric Table Lamp Miller ML 246 Rare
This lamp is more beautiful than my photos show. It is absolutely stunning. I call it a helmet lamp because that is the shape of the shade. It has 4 panels of textured amber glass. The shade has a diameter of 8 1/2. The depth of the shade is approx 5. All the tabs holding the glass in place are there. There are no problems with the glass that I can see. The base has one pull chain socket. The height of the lamp is 13 1/2. The diameter of the base is approx 5 3/4. The base is marked ML 246. It has a recently rewired rayon cord. It is all read y to go. The light bulb is not included. I used a standard 15 w bulb. This lamp came from a collection of an elderly man. Parker Antique Arts Crafts Mission Slag Glass Bradley Hubbard Handel Era Lamp
Rare Charles Parker 8 panel slag glass lamp. I’ve had this since around 2010. I bought it with a two of the caramel colored panels cracked. I took it personally to a slag glass artisan a few hours drive from here and he replaced them along with a new styled rayon cord. None of the panels are cracked or broken. It’s a bit dusty along the panel edges and I have elected to just leave it that way. Some of the panels have slight surface chips, very small at the size of a pencil tip and can be seen in photos, which upon closer inspection appear to be broken surface bubbles or just minimal flaws in the glass that have been impacted with years of dust build up. The base has some paint missing which is shown in some of the pics and there are other places where paint is missing as well. This is a 100 year old lamp give or take and has not been fully restored so expect it not to be that way. If you have questions on that please feel free to ask me. Appx 23 high to top of finial.
