Large Antique Arts & Crafts Oak Slag Glass Lamp Limbert Style Converted Oil Lamp
Oak Arts & Crafts Lamp. Being offered is an antique oak Arts and Crafts lamp with an eight panel slag glass shade with caramel colored glass. It has great Limbert style cut outs on the four sided base measuring 11″ X 11″ square. Shade measures 22″ across and the lamp stands 29″ not including the clear glass chimney. Shade is held in place by four brass arms. Originally an oil lamp that has been converted to electric, with an on/off switch on the cord, newly rewired. I couldn’t find a makers mark on the lamp. Condition is excellent with one split to one of the oak pieces on the shade (see last picture). Please view all pictures provided as they are the best description.

Arts & Crafts, Stickley, Limbert Handel Era Leaded Stained Slag Glass Lamp, circa 1910 – 20, s. Shade has 20 inches in diameter, on upper level two small heat line cracks, on lower level 3 small heat line cracks ; has very strong structure, no loose glass panels. AS YOU COULD SEE VIA PICTURES VERY INTRICATE COLORS AT DAY OR NIGHT LIGHTS. Lamp base has 26 inches tall, very nice and original gray – black patina. Whole lamp was made in strong design of Arts & Crafts Era. Three sockets are original with original pull chains and finials, heat cap and finial also are original, of course has some very light signs of usage for lamp over 100 years old, but nothing serious. Circa 2000 Brass Oak Slag Glass Arts & Crafts Table Lamp Stickley Limbert Style
Very cool contemporary Arts & Crafts style oak, brass, and slag glass 2-socket table lamp. 16″ x 16″ shade, 21 tall. Recently professionally rewired w/ period appropriate cord (10′) and quality in-line switch installed. Obviously styled after a well-known Limbert form table lamp… The base is made w/ quartersawn oak. Heavy shade is made from a riveted (56 rivets) brass framework w/ slag glass panels that has a cut-out overlaid design of trees w/ an owl perched on a branch. There are 8 separate panels and the designs on each side are continuous as if one image. Two socket lamp w/ perfectly functioning acorn end pull chains. Two breaks to the slag glass at top… One doesn’t show… See last three photos. Custom made boxes and careful packaging. Antique Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Stickley Limbert
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a very unusual arts & crafts prairie style slag glass table lamp. Just a wonderful, yet simple, looking lamp. I love the way they put a little bit of blue coloring in the boarder panels while still maintaining the caramel color so that the glass sort of flows from the top into the boarder….. I have no idea who made this one, but its good quality. The shade and base are brass, and there is a heavy cast iron weight in the bottom of the base for stability. The overlay on the shade is brass and the design is that of two repeating country scenes (one with a bridge and one that looks like it goes up to a ranch). The shade is 15″ square and the lamp stands about 19″ tall. The socket signed HUBBELL and has its original porcelain interior and satellite ended pull chain. The lamp is wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Just think how nice this one would look in a mission or arts & crafts setting! If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. This is a very beautiful antique Slag Glass Table Lamp. Antique double-socket with an intricately detailed design of Camels & Palm Trees. The Lamp must be rewired for use.
