Fantastic Arts & Crafts Period Wrought Iron And Slag Glass Lamp
Wonderful period Arts & Crafts style table lamp of wrought iron and sheet iron and purplish blue slag glass. It stands about 19 inches tall and 14 inches wide. The base is about 10 inches square. The shade is removable from the base. The shade measures is about 9 inches tall and 12 1/2 inches wide. Imparts a beautiful and inviting mellow warm light. Very unusual and perfect for an arts & crafts period setting with Stickley furniture etc. I would recommend rewiring. May have originally been an oil or kerosene lamp? Impossible to find Suess solid bronze lamp base with original finish, cap, sockets and all the works. 24″ tall, 10 1/2″ wide at the bottom. Beautiful dark green finish. Matching long Hubbell sockets with their original interiors and acorn ended pull chains. Wired with period style cloth braided cord and ready to use….. All you need is the right shade! This is a very hard to find and very sleek looking Suess lamp base. It was used with their very best shades. If you have a nice apple blossom or overall floral, this would be the base to have! Antique Bradley & Hubbard Bent Slag Glass lamp, Miller & Pittsburgh Lamp Styles
This is an original exquisite large Bradley & Hubbard signed Bent Slag Glass lamp. This is a large and heavy lamp standing 24 1/2 inches tall on a 7 1/2 inch sculpted base. The base and the vase like column are all wonderfully cast and have the original patinated bronze finish in almost perfect condition. The 8 panel bent slag glass shade is 20 1/2 inches in diameter and stands 7 3/4 inches tall. It is complete and all the sculpted overlay is complete with a wonderful antique bronze patina. I did notice that one small segment of the overlay has been replaced. I usually remove things like that but it is secure and tight so I left it. I didn’t even notice it until I was preparing to take the photos. The Bent Slag Glass panels are complete, no cracks or breaks. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Signed at the top of the column with the B & H triangle mark with a number on the base bottom. Check out the photos. A wonderful large & good looking lamp for your home! Coleman Slag Glass Parlor Lamp Shade For Deluxe/Aristocrat Quick Lite Gas Models
Coleman Model 336 shade used on the Deluxe and Aristocrat Quick-Lite gas parlor lamps. 16 inch diameter at bottom. 6 panels of variegated carmel colored slag glass supported by cast metal dividers. The shade was made by Miller for Coleman. Excellent condition but it does not have the correct center piece of the top or one wasn’t used. The person I bought this from had put together something to use this shade on an electric lamp. See last two pics. I’m not exactly sure how this shade was secured on the gas lamps. Shade will be double-boxed. Outer box is 21x21x21 and overall weight of package is right around 15 pounds.
